Sacandaga Campground in the old growth of the Middle Fork Willamette. - FEE USE

This very special campground is on the old military wagon trail of Oregon's history. It is also on the Middle Fork trail , awesome for its biking and hiking along the Willamette River.

17 camping sites on flat ground but all back in. Fire rings and tables. small spots, RV 25 feet and under. Gravel road NO pavement for RVs. NO hook ups. 2 - double vault toilets. only drinking water is by 1 hand pump at east end of camp ground. Along river but VERY steep and rugged terrain to river, NO SWIMMING.

Campsite is along the Middle Fork trail and has some great hiking, biking, walking and fishing along the middle fork of the Willamette River. Fishing is mainly Rainbow and Brook Trout. Please check OR fishing regs as these change from year to year depending on fish count up river.

There are some nice swimming areas further down stream but also know the water is so cold! it is coming off snow packs out of the sisters.

Warning – Cougar and bear sightings, lockup food, watch your kids at all times.

September is hunting season and the camp does close down mid October.
