Great area to park and get on the trail! We saw a ton of people getting ready to snowshoe, cross country ski, and ride snowmobiles. We originally planned to car camp at this location and arrived around 11pm at night. However, the sno-park was already full of other vehicles and we saw the signs…
There is no camping at the trailhead, need to clarify that, but there is great hiking in all seasons from here. Hiking up Tumalo Mountain and to Todd Lake is great, with mountain views in all directions.
