Spread Out, Lots to Do, History Well-Preserved

Bike trails, huge visitors center with a museum, disc golf, wide open picnic and pet exercise areas, some beautiful campsites, everything well off the road. Some of the sites were a little close together, but the place is so huge, well-attended by rangers and with the large areas well separated. Part of the beautiful countryside that is the Willamette Valley.

  • The camping around this site (T4) is one of the reasons I gave Champoeg 5 stars... try to get one of these.
