Lots of walking, hiking, & biking

BIG campground with spots for all types of camping. Tons of walking, hiking, and biking trails. Bathrooms are kind of sparse so long walks to restrooms. Fun things to see at the beach with the ship and old military forts.

Great campground!

Fort Stevens is awesome. One of my most favorite campsites I've ever stayed at. It's so pretty, and it has awesome trails. Where we stayed it was only about a ten minute walk to the ocean. We also did some clamming on the beach which was super fun.

This campground is awesome, I highly recommend…

Quiet, clean, well kept, no frills

Reservations on the phone were helpful and pleasant. Rest Rooms with showers are very clean all the time.  Maintenance workers are busy about the park weekdays. Ice machine use is included. Picnic table under a 20-30 ft tree on every site. Use your Good Sam club discount. Drive-through and back in…

Beautiful beach camping

Love this campground!  We go every couple of years for a family campout at the coast.  The beach here is beautiful and we've always had a good experience in the campground.  Some sites are better than others and we've had trouble with wind in certain loops, but overall it's been a fantastic…

Very well laid out place

This place was very nice and quite convenient. 2 miles from the nearest town and right on the coast this place had large pieces of land for RVs and Camping and also had cabins as well. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful campground

Fort Stevens is a fantastic state park facility.  The campground is large and extensive with options for every kind of camper from tent spaces to yurts.

There are lots of trails to ride bikes on and nearby beaches to relax and enjoy.  As well as a few places with military history displays.

Ocean view, great location and amenities at your disposal

Flat paved rv sites, can see it getting crowded during peak season. Prices are on the higher end but you get what you pay for as they accommodate for fishing and crabbing.

Camp Rilea RV

Camp Rilea has full hook ups, but they are back in only. They also have a shower/bathroom facility. The campground is beautiful and quiet. The only caviat is that you must have military ID to utilize the campground.

Something for everyone - forest, fishing, history, beach, nice campsites

As others have noted, the campground is huge, with multiple loops of sites that are a bit closer together than we would have liked, and cell phone service was poor, but otherwise it was a good choice for our first trip in a travel trailer.  Thank goodness for the dump station with multiple lanes…

Beautiful, large campground. Lots to explore!

I went in April and there were a bunch of open camp spots to choose from but I imagine it fills up in the summer months! They offer tent, full-hook up and electric. The sites were all paved with lots of beautiful, tall, shady trees. Nice, clean bathrooms with showers. Access to lots of walking and…
