Nice hosts, good veiw

Beautiful view, hosts very nice people. They will help take your things to your site. Island is lovely to walk around, our site had beach access. Site to reserve has pictures. Will definitely return!

RV Spots Review

We recently stayed in the RV area of Beacon Rock. There are 5 sites with hook ups. Sites 1-3 are very close together with 4 & 5 slightly more spread out. What we didn’t know was the train runs directly behind the site multiple times an hour and is loud. The area is very clean and bathrooms were…

Noisier than expected

The rv campground accommodates 5 spots, which is nice, though spots are relatively close to one another. Unfortunately, between the sites and the river is a train track, with trains going by about every 20 minutes. It did not bother us too much during the night, but very noticeable during the day…

Best spot to camp at Mt Hood

One of the best camping experiences I’ve had at Mt Hood. Didn’t have any reservations anywhere and thought it’d be easy to grab a spot at other grounds, not the case this time of year apparently lol. We got pointed towards McNeil and Green Canyon because it’s first come first serve. Gordon (homie…

Great place for family or couples-quiet and clean

Stayed here a couple weeks before Memorial Day weekend (Thanks, Veterans!). Had the far back area to ourselves. Nearest other campers were four sites away. Lots of places to walk and ride bikes. A bit pricey, but it's up on the mountain so you are within an easy drive of hiking trails and other…

Rest stop

I'm not sure you can spend the night here. It's a rest stop with no overnight signs, idk if they mean for a certain part of the lot though and probably no one would hassle you

Beautiful campground

I loved camping here. It was a very clean campsite and the people were very nice. The campsites are pretty spread out which is nice and pretty tucked into the forests.

Lovely place but no lake

I stayed here for only 2 days to go fishing but we found out there was no more lake there it’s just marsh out there and you would have to walk/drive to Timothy lake to fish. So no you cannot fish here they are wrong for putting it up and this place gets infested with giant termites everywhere.

A step into the forest

Love it here. Nice trails. Birds singing and lots of water fowl.

Gorgeous Views and multiple sites

One of the best campgrounds. About a half a mile walk from the Forest road. The small peninsula extends into Timothy Lake and is home to multiple campsites. The main one is named Meditation Camp and has the best combination of views, tent spots, and water access. Each of the six to nine campsites…

Clean not quite

A good place to explore nearby towns. Little had to sleep with the freeway sounds
