Lakeside Camping

Beautiful lakeside spot with a good bit of open space. Our site last night was not shaded but many of them are. Signs say you can stay up to 14 days and the fee is currently free! There was some road construction in the campground in the morning but nothing too loud or serious.

Amazing

Natural falls was great you are blocked off from the falls themselves to help preserve them but it’s definitely a place worth seeing all the campsites are in really good shape even though it wasn’t fully our style of camping ( we like to be secluded) it was amazing everything was really nice there…

Great if you already have everything you need...

This camping area is great if you already have a nice rig but if you have a small rig and prefer to take showers in a nice bath house, this is not the campground for you. None of the sites have water hookups and the showers were awful. The stalls were filthy and too small so everything you bring…

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Depends on what you want or need in life. The spot can be the ultimate in life or the depths of despair. I believe I see something middle of the road. A pit toilet. Boat launch. Picnic table. Fire ring. No electric. No cell. Right on the water. One family has held their family gathering every year…

Great campground

Super friendly hosts, beautiful view. The water at our site was broken so we shared with another site (60’). The campground was clean. We could hear the noise from the highway across the lake.

Nobody answered the phone or called back before I came but it worked out ok. Firewood costs 5 dollars. Camping is 20 per car or 4 people. The snack hut was closed. Wasnt told of any trails rentals or much of anything. It was camping

Isolated, peaceful and trashy.

Pros: Free, Isolated, quite and great views.

Cons: trash sporadically thrown about and lack of facilities (there’s toilets if you’re brave enough.)

Lastly it’s neither a pro or con but there are LOTS of critters. I was car camping and woke up to several large spider webs attached to my car and a…

Fun for the grandkids

On premises splash park with waterside was great for the grandkids. We all enjoyed the walking and biking trails. Not many full hookups, but lots of 30a/water sites. Nice location and relatively easy to get to.
