Blue Bike Trail, Mud Luck Trail

My husband and I went on the Blue biking trail and mud lick trail on separate visits. The biking trail was very open for walkers still! It went through types of scenery and was extremely peaceful. The Mud Lick trail was a little overgrown and the trail was a little harder to find but we still though it was spectacular. The views of the lake were so beautiful!

Camp tent

Just explore this place last weekend on non electric site, this park is amazing for mountain biking trail to go with water sport at lake . The camp site was ok . Don’t expect flush or shower at non electric site . I don’t mind as our purpose to find a camp site gave us most privacy and shade just for weekend

Little cramped but ideal.

Facilities and staff were amazing for us. Sites are certainly cramped together so best choose wisely if you don’t want to be invited to dinner by your neighbors. Location is nice with kayaking, hiking, fishing, biking and relaxing all very close by. The beach was very popular with the camp ground crowd. We had a great time and would be happy to come back.

First time RV’ing!

We just purchased an RV and was so excited to take a trip with it!! Being a first time RV owner we didn’t want to travel too far from home just in case something would go wrong. I got spoiled by going to Hueston Woods for our first outing! VERY clean, there was a playground for the kids, bathroom and shower facilities were available, and lets not forget the easy access to fresh water and dumping stations! Plenty of sightseeing and activities for ALL ages!! We will be going back!

Don't care for it

Sites are to close… unlevel

💓☀️🏕

Huge Park! Extremely large beach, always quite crowded though, boat rentals available, lots of places for peaceful fishing, and designated camping sites!

Lots of potential!

Nice place to stay with lots of outdoor recreation. Sites are not maintained as well as other state parks but still adequate. Pull through sites are just big enough for average size rigs. Back in sites are small but you can set up off of the designated pad. Guest campers were very friendly and helpful. We will be camping here again.

Great for anyone!

We love camping here! Whether it's tent camping, group camping, RV, cabin, or lodge accommodations they can fill all your needs. Very large park with playgrounds, fishing, swimming, creek access, dog park, archery practice area or walk over to the damn. The bathrooms could use a little better cleaning but all in all it's a great park! We come often and camp at least once a year! Highly recommended.

Family Friendly

Friendly, clean, family oriented. We have stayed in both the general camping spot as well as the horse campground. Love them both.

Decent

Campground is nice, packed in like sardines in places. Facilities leave a lot to be desired. Not cleaned regularly. No lights at all in them. Dumpster overflowing.
