Cabin stay with hot tub

Nice lodge with pool. Pet hedgehog worked the front counter. Bigfoot stuff everywhere. Okay trails.

Love this Park!

This is one of my favorite places. Clean, well maintained, many big lots, excellent facilities and lots to do in the kayak capital of Ohio. We’ve stayed twice in our rookie year and both experiences were tops. We did more hiking this time and enjoyed the variety. Be sure to check out the new…

Salt Fork Primitive camp sites

Plenty of nice park in lot and walk to sites. All on the edge of the woods, surrounding small open fields.

Pleasant Hill is Pleasant!

I recently stayed 2 nights on site 304 which was electric only by choice and when we return we will opt for full hook up since those sites look brand new.

Positives:

  • Lots are spacious
  • Lots of activities: WhoaZone, boating, fishing, horseback riding, near Mohican Adventures for rafting,…

Good Sam 10-10-10

Campground is well manicured; quiet; spacious sites; and near Canton (which is why we chose it). It has a 10-10-10 rating with Good Sam and I understand why. Would definitely stay here again.

Best Campground Around!

WTTR is our families favorite place to be during camping season in Ohio. It has everything you can imagine, it’s safe and CLEAN! We couldn’t recommend a resort more than this one.

Typical State Park

The park itself is huge with many hiking trails, a huge lake with unlimited horsepower (bad for kayaks), an interesting historical museum, a cave overhang and lots of Bigfoot lore.

The campground is average for an Ohio State Park- think huge, exposed fields with no tree cover, and hundreds of…

Great camp site

The camp site is a short walk and was very nice. The porta potty was very big, clean and had hand sanitizer! In the morning there were many runners in the park but they stayed away from the camping area.

Our go-to spot

This has been our go-to spot for 10 years now. We're started in a tent, moved to a pop-up, and now we're in a pull behind travel-trailer. It's gotten more crowded since they renovated, so may branch out and look elsewhere, but it's still a great spot.

Amazing

This is an awesome campground. Almost Resort style camping.

The check in process was simple and easy. The sites are easy to get to and into. They have concrete slabs, the sites are well groomed and there is plenty of space.

I normally don't care for camping where there are seasonal campers but…

Great park

This is a great state park campground. We stayed at an electric site. The spots are decent sized, plenty of restrooms, pool, playground and camp store that sells ice cream! Tubing down the creek next to the campground was super cool too. Cabins looked very nice and secluded. We hiked to the…

Lots to see and do!

This park is huge! There are several areas to pay for camping as well as primitive camp. It’s near the water and they offer several trails. Other than the trails, there is a stone house to view as well as a cave. We explored both and thought they were both interesting. The paid sites are pretty…
