Welcoming staff/clean

The grounds are well kept and everything is super clean. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. This group likes to have fun and they seem to love their jobs. There are a couple of ponds for catch and release fishing, and a river for fishing to keep watch you catch. The sites are easy to get…

Great campground

This is a great campground if you don’t want to be far off the main road or by yourself. It is bustling with activity and people and everyone was very nice! The pool is amazing! The slide is so fun! It has 3ft all the way to 6ft roped off sections in the pool! Lots of year round permanent residence…

Quiet and private

Nice little campground with trees and bushes between each site that make it feel private. Just electric sites, no water or septic. Away from the highway so no traffic noise. The beach is closed due to hurricane damage but the campground was still a nice stay.

Hidden gem

Park is very secluded from the area. As soon as you pull in the driveway it kinda looks scary but after you pass all the trees you get this very big open land that is well maintained. They kid park area is really just one swing set. They have a dock and a covered patio area for fires(facing the…

Clean & Friendly

We love this campground and stay here at least once a year. Full hook ups, very clean, friendly staff, and many sites have a shelter area for the picnic table (all sites have a table). WiFi isn’t great but that doesn’t bother us; cell signal is decent. Easy access to beach and waterway. Bathhouse…

Best out of season

We tent camped at this small (16 sites) campground in late May. The location is pretty and on the water. Not a swimming place, but there is a launch for canoes and kayaks. The location is a perfect staring point for hiking in Croatan National Forest. Fierce biting bugs and ticks during certain…

Remote & East to Access but a little Buggy

We loved this campground! It was so easy to access, the roads were well maintained and it was right on the coast. Plenty of campsites so one was easy to grab even without a reservation. Each site is super clean with a fire ring and picnic table. Free water spigots and nice gravity toilets. Price…
