Lake Norman campground with 32-sites and a group campground are available during warm-weather months, and a community building with kitchen facilities, restrooms and fireplace can be rented for family and group events year round. Only 1 min from the exit ramp off Highway 16, this is perfectly located and very easy to get to after your travel to the area. Charlotte is within only 35 mins driving distance or visit Lake Norman within 10 minutes from our property. DuGaren Venues & Vineyard is only a 3 minute drive from us right around the corner. There are so many charming towns and shops very close to here to explore as well. Drive down the gravel road to the back of the property where you will find your RV/Tent site. Enjoy the beautiful wild deer grazing through the property and the fireflies at dark. You can walk up to the spring fed stream on the property and enjoy the beauty of the area. You are welcome to pet and feed the friendly cows.

    Animals are allowed in the park but are not allowed on attractions.

    All of the sites and cabins at Dan Nicholas Park are in the woods. We do not have sewer hookups on sites. Pets are allowed on sites only, not in cabin areas. We have a two night minimum for reservations on the weekends. Payment in full must be made to hold reservations. We do not do refunds, but we will issue rain checks if notified 4 days prior to first reservation date. These will be good for one year.
