Nice but sites are narrow

Really like this campground. It is clean and generally well maintained except for a few branches along the road that can use trimming. Sites are narrow. but have a nice gravel surface. Great connectivity with Att and Tmo. Plenty of OTA TV channels.

Great amenities, private sites

Love this camping area! Really private sites, clean facilities, and nice lake access. My only con is that the showers are automatic sensors, so when you need the water to warm up, you just have to stand there and take it. If you step out of the way of the sensor, the water stops. But otherwise,…

Pretty Good Overall

Sites are clean and well maintained, no issues with hookups. Facilities are not very well kept up an little to no Verizon service but overall a beautiful campground and lake for fishing.

We enjoyed our stay

We tent camped on Aug 28. This was our first time setting up on a platform and it was very easy. Our site had a great view of the beautiful lake. There was a pool our kids could swim in until 7:00pm. They let us borrow a metal fire pit so we could make s’mores. The restrooms and showers were very…

Wonderful

This campground is wonderful. The entire park is. Lots of great hiking and things to do!

The only downside is that everyone else seems to know how great this spot is, and therefore it can be very crowded

Loud

Tight spaces, even pull-thru with 50/30/20 very small. Most sites don’t have enough space to park your tow vehicle. Campground is loud. Super close to interstate with traffic noise.

Not bad

The campsites are extremely close together so there is no privacy at all. Also in shower house the lights are motioned sensored which are super inconvenient when you're the only one in there and it cuts off 2 or 3 times while your showering and you have to carefully walk in the dark to the middle…

Has so much to do!

This campground has so many sites and they are well laid out and spacious. They have 30 amp and 50 amp sites to suit your needs. There is a nice restaurant to eat at, a small convenience store, arcade games, 3 pools and a ton of activities. There is also an adult lodge with a tv and pool table.  We…

Nice campground not far out of town (from RTP)

Nice big sites cut into the trees with pretty good privacy.  Clean bathrooms and showers and easy access to the lake from most loops of the campground.

AT&T coverage was a couple bars, enough to get connected to email and check in with the rest of the world.

  • Campsite... good shade, level, good privacy.

Great spot, well placed with Zoo.

Great stay. Minutes from the zoo. We did a three day weekend here, with a day at the zoo, and the rest of the time playing at the campground.

3 kids all loved it.

Sites were gravel, not all level, but not too bad. Full hook-ups, picnic table and fire pit. Extremely friendly staff.

  • Jump Pad. Typically had kids all on it.
  • Cabin.
