This campground is located just outside of Boone and is in a great location. Off the main roads, but convenient to many local attractions. My family and I stayed two nights. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs.

My kids enjoyed the activities and the stream. Everybody there seemed to be having a great time.... Kids, parents, couples, groups, college kids, older rv's, and staff. The gentleman that checked in before me indicated that his family goes there every year for a week vacation. One of our neighbors at the campground said they just stayed there this past Memorial Day weekend and loved it so much that they came back for the 4th of July weekend.

I didn't get a chance to walk around the whole campground, but the sites seemed to be nice. The bathhouse was in good order, and the staff checked on it multiple times during the day. Overall, a satisfying and joyful experience. We plan on going back.
