There are WAY more better places to camp at.

I would rather go to the county land fill to camp. At least they will treat you like a human being instead of a piece of trash. But for real, I was the head maintenance person for the last 4 years. I finally had enough when a 5 year old child tied her pet to the swing set post so she could play with her friends. Well her pet dug a hole and the owner made her parents pay $75.00 for a hole that only took 3 shovel scoops to fix. Took me 3 minutes to fix. Wow. Then her parents couldn't come up with the money till Thursday. So the owner added another $90.00 more to the fine. Then that evening her husband came in and said he wouldn't be able to pay the additional $90 into the following week. She said no you don't have to pay or I will text you more. So they were planning on leaving well I went in and paid the $75 cash for their fun so they would be OK and owner of the campground raise my rent from $80 a month to $420 a month because I paid the extra $75 for that.

Campground isn't even my last choice....

Where to start. We have a 40 foot coach and was promised level sites, easy access to walk our very old dog. This was not what we arrived to. The road going in didn't have proper clearance for a large coach and when we arrived Our site number was changed to a site that was very unlevel. If you know anything about a large coach they have slides our coach was equipped with four slides. This site was unable to accommodate the coach without the slides out. We had an immediate drop-off from our steps that our dog couldn't even get out of the bus. While going back to the office as my husband was pulling carefully out of the site with another drop off at the end of what is supposed to be a pull thru, we met a man and he got another man. They were both quite nice and understood our dilemma. I asked for a refund and the older man identified as the owner said yes ma'am. Here is the office lady coming now. She was in a nice way SOMETHING ELSE! Her language and profanity was over the top and she said there was no way in HELL I was getting my money back. Instead of engaging with this woman any further(as with someone like that it's just better to walk away and we left. I have emailed and asked for a refund as we didn't stay. We moved down the road a little further and found a very nice level campground that our old great dane was able to get out of the bus and finally go potty after the long ride up. While this campground would be acceptable for a pop up camper it was not acceptable for a$300,000.00 four slide coach! I will keep you posted if we get the refund. They have 10 days according to my credit card company. If I do not get the refund I will be filing a complete dispute outlining everything in the 15 minutes we were there. Here is the response I received: hey Beth this is X I have no problem giving you a refund and we had discussed the situation before you came in and you could’ve canceled but you came anyway and I’m giving you a refund but let me tell you I don’t appreciate how you treat my help do you know how hard it is to find people to work and you berated her and you were irate and yelling and screaming in her face that was uncalled for and I do think that you owe Y an apology so I would like for you to call her or send her a letter of apology because that was uncalled for I know you were upset but you don’t take it out of my help you can take it out on me if I’ll take it which I won’t but that was totally totally uncalled for and you need to make restitution towards it because I don’t wanna lose my help because of customers like you Here is where the lie begins: First off I have inflammation on my vocal chords, of which I have been under doctors care since July 3rd. I barely have a voice let alone be able to scream. Y is nothing but a drama queen making it out to be that I am a nightmare when this is completely untrue. By 4pm I literally have no voice. There is no way I can scream or yell as she stated. BEWARE of this campground. It’s absolutely the bottom of the barrel and with this new response leads me to believe that the owners are in the same category as Y.

Don't go, Just Don't!

I've learned my lesson!! I will pay closer attention to reviews from multiple sites in the future. This place is not as advertised. We camped there over the 4th of July. Arrived as scheduled on Friday to find that the site we booked had a camper in storage on it.  The owner of the campground said just take the one next to it. That site had two storage buildings and the sewer dump was uphill. We ask if we could setup on the site above that one and had no electricity because the electric pole had the wires switched. We had to wait for someone to come and fix that.  The person that came was nice, but really didn't seem to know what he was doing. The simple repair took almost an hour.  Most of the RV's there are long term.  The campground is dirty, our site was covered in cigarette butts. Our picnic table was rotten and couldn't be used. There was no metal ring for a campfire at our site.

The owner knew we would not be able to find another campground with availability due to the holiday. She was rude and uncaring. I was very disappointed in our experience.
