Perfect for solo travelers, couples, guests new to camping or those wanting to experience something different in Woodstock and sleep under magic of its stars. Amenities include running water right to campsite, Uno cards, headlamps/flashlights, yoga mat, fire pit, picnic set, telescope. Swim and enjoy the nearby Millstream stream which is a mile down from the Cabana or go a little further to the 'Big Deep' watering hole. You will see wildlife of all kind from eagles to deer. Enjoy beautiful views of Overlook Mountain and hike it by driving a short distance to the start of the trail from the Cabana. We have a bunch of recommendations for food and other site seeing sites and hikes nearby. You are central to the wonderful Catskill high peaks and the fun neighboring towns which a short drive from the Cabana (e.g., Phoenecia, Saugerties, Kingston, Mount Tremper, Rhinebeck). We provide plenty of firewood for guests and offer additional lighting and food options for your enjoyment. Woodstock's Tinker Street is a little over a mile away from the Cabana with shops, top-notch restaurants, music, movies and theaters. You'll wake up to the sounds of the woods and enjoy a forest filled with various trees including, pines, ash, maple. If you are lucky, you might spot an owl in the woods. We also provide a telescope for you to enjoy the stars on a clear mountain night sky. Dreamcatcher Acres is a 4.7 acre property in prime area of Woodstock proper and within a mile of Tinker Street. Guests of the Cabana share the property with the lovely owners of the property as well as the guests of "Dreamcatcher Cottage", both of which are located on the other side of the property. During the daytime, you will see neighboring houses. Our neighbors are friendly but private so we ask that you respect their space as they will yours by exploring only the marked woods of the property.
