A place to unwind and RELAX! Rural, but still so much to do nearby: hike, paddle, eat fabulous local cuisine, go antiquing, enjoy art, music and more. Heads up: the Sheep and Wool Festival is coming up Oct. 19 and 20, 2019! Come play at our place! Tivoli is a great town to explore offering access the Hudson River there as well as restaurants, cafes and unusual shops. We are right near Hudson & Rhinebeck, both full of amazing antiques, design shops, boutiques & eateries, minutes away from the critically acclaimed Fisher Center for the Performing Arts & Hessel Art Museum at Bard College. Walk or drive to beautiful Twin Lakes down the road from the campsite for a refreshing swim or paddle (bring your dog!). Or walk/drive down to the Rojan River, drop some tubes in and peacefully float downsteam for a couple hours. Take a short drive to acclaimed distilleries, wineries, breweries all around us. And, of course, local cuisine abounds in nearby restaurants and pop-ups. YUMMY! Check out Tivoli Bays and some of the beautiful and historic Hudson River estates such as Olana, Montgomery Place and Clermont, along with Wilderstein in nearby Rhinebeck. Enjoy the serene Poet's Walk landscape park overlooking the Hudson River or climb the fire tower in Ferncliff Forest for stunning views of the Hudson River Valley and the Catskills. Or just relax and enjoy our own 34 acres of maintained trails wandering through sugar maple woods & wild flower meadows! We have a second spot next to a seasonal stream or another in the meadow for larger groups. Dome tent available for additional campers.
