About This Campground

Private campsite nestled in a scenic 101 acres property in the Catskill NY area! Sunsets and Star Filled Skies. Just a short drive from Stamford Once known as "The Queen of the Catskills" Stamford, New York has been an ideal location to escape from the hustle and bustle since the 1800's. Join of rich history of local travelers who love to camp and enjoy the beautiful outdoor nature of the Catskills. 101 Acres of living History. As one of the only private forest preserves in the region outside the Blue Line (The Catskill Park), the Michael Kudish Natural History Preserve. Inc. is dedicated, in perpetuity, to continued support and protection of the natural and human heritage of the Catskill Mountain Region. Neighboring Utsayantha Mountain has the only fire tower in the Catskills that you can drive to (or hike of course), offering 360 degree views of the majestic Catskills, "America's First Wilderness". We are an active Natural History Preserve. There are occasional events happening throughout the 101 acres. Don't be surprised if you spot a herd of very friendly goats nearby.
