Picturesque secluded hilltop overlooking Charlotte Valley The site is located in a large open meadow on top of a hill great for stargazing, field games, kite flying, drone flying, enjoying views of the valley below, and meditating.
The tent is surrounded by woods and wild meadows with hiking paths. The back meadow has a nice hiking loop and is a great place to see butterflies. The lower meadow is good for hiking and deer watching.
A kids' box with board games, coloring books, and a few other surprises will be available on site, as well as a field games box with Frisbees and more.
The site is a short drive from historic downtown Oneonta, where you will find eclectic restaurants and small art galleries, as well as Hartwick College and SUNY Oneonta. A longer drive will bring you to Cooperstown, N.Y., home of the Baseball Hall of Fame, The Farmer's Museum, Fenimore Art Museum, Glimmerglass State Park, and more.
