A well kept State Forest Campground that's ideal for "Boon Docking!" They have water near the office to fill up before you go park. There is NO dump station but there is Delaware Family Campground about 10 miles away to dump if you need to. (It was $25 at the time of this writing)
It's a great…

Quiet, clean, pet friendly! Pool, fishing pond, small arcade. Open May through October.
Some things you should be aware of before booking: The office, playground, dog park, pool, laundry are located at the top of the hill. Camping spots are downhill, a good distance from the office and amenities. Trash is located off site in a pullout on the road you drive in on. There are 2…

This is a really great place to camp. The shelter sites are large and private with access to hiking trails and make for a unique experience. The staff is friendly as well
Easy to reserve, find and stay at the Promised Land State Park, PA.
We went straight to the campsite, saw my name was added at the campsite number so that was reassuring. It was very clean, although there were gravels, we could camp at a little moist area but we had a perfect good night's sleep.…
It’s a really good place!!!!
This was only our second camping trip and the staff here was absolutely amazing and nice. No electricity hook-up on the sites. The second day we stayed the water that came from the water source there was purple instead of clear like day one, but we brought enough drinking water just in case so it…

Nice quiet campsite. The majority of the trailer/RV's here are seasonal people. Under new ownership (very nice young couple) as of August 2021 and they plan to make many upgrades to the campground. The roads are tight for larger trailers/RV's and some sites are very hard to get into. 20 & 30…
Got a camp site right on the Delaware River. Was able to fish, swim rent tubes and kayaks. What was also great was firewood delivery and the campgrounds are dog friendly

We went with a few families and had a nice time. It is very basic and that worked for us.
We were just there for the weekend to sit around the fire and catch up with friends.
They had the bounce pillow and a small pool. It could benefit from some sprucing up. If I was passing through the area…

I stayed at the Beechwood location at the Promised Land state park and despite the constant rain, it was quiet and peaceful. You could only ever hear the wildlife . The RV pads were spaced put perfectly and we all had our own picnic table and fire pit. 10/10 would visit again.
Very hard to get a good site in this park. But if you get the right one, you can launch your kayaks right from the site. The sites are very crowded together, some you can’t tell where one begins and the next one ends. But the park is beautiful. Avoid going on the weekends if you can help it. SO…

We booked because it shows pull through sites. The campground is 45 min off main road and has ONE pull through. We had a 27' with 12' trailer in tow. We were given a site that we were told we should be able to back in to. When we found it, there wasn't enough room to get in. We went back to the…
The minute we arrived at Camp Taylor we knew we were in for something special. Our campsite was very spacious and backed up to a creek, and we appreciated the effort the owners made in keeping all of the sites private and spread out from each other. We booked this trip based on the wolf preserve…
