Great Camp to make as base camp for adventures in the area

Watkins Glen/ Corning KOA this is a nice KOA in the Watkins Glen area. Our site was a full hookup site. Campground offered clean sites with gravel drives and grass areas between them. Offers your typical KOA amenities with a huge outdoor pool, indoor pool and hot tub, water slide, rock wall…

Connecting with nature

Letchworth State Park Campground sites are spacious and mostly private. Really quiet and peaceful. Bathrooms were well maintained and very clean. '

The 3 falls are beautiful. Lots of hiking and scenic sites. Museum within the park and lots of history to learn about.

Farenbough Review

I am a full timer and have been staying here on/off for past two months. I have found the staff to be accommodating. They offer 30/50 amp sites, also have full hook ups and some primitive sites. They have a well stocked store with grocery necessities, camping necessities, snacks and Hersey ice…

Nice place

Initially we booked site 97. Upon arrival we found out that 97 is no longer a camp site. We were moved to site 14 thankfully they had one spot available for a fully booked weekend.

Our site 14 was nice and large had some shade from trees. The camp ground had trash cans available in multiple…

Incredible waterfalls and campground!

We loved sugar creek glen! The owners were super friendly and helpful! There is a beautiful waterfall and creek in the middle of the campground. We were able to hike and climb up to more falls and swimming holes when the creek level came down one day. Other days we couldn’t due to high creek…

Solid option in the finger lakes.

We camped here for 3 nights, I had an event in Geneva. Location was handy, easy in and out. It’s an old navy/Air Force base that was converted in the 60’s. Sites have a weird thing with one electric post per two sites… but they aren’t pull through. So, apparently, New York doesn’t care if you just…

Clean & convenient

Great campground for kids, events, and hiking. Plenty of room on each site for whatever you need. Multiple playgrounds which are clean & well maintained. Only downside is that the RV sites don’t have much shade but the tent sites do. Also make sure to bring plenty of leveling blocks as some…

Unexpected Surroundings

In most states, those without falls like Niagara, this state park would be the pride of the land. With three serious drops in as many miles, the Genesse River winds it’s way through what locals call the “Grand Canyon of the East.” Many states try to make such claims, but this might be the closest…

Quiet, great staff

We stayed here at the end of June for a long weekend.  The grounds were well kept and the staff was nice.  When we arrived on Friday afternoon there were a few other campers in our area (Labrador Wolf Loop).  By Friday evening all of the spots were occupied.  Despite all of the occupied sites, it…

Acceptable

The campground was in a good location minutes from Watkins Glen and many, many wineries. It was clean, the staff was polite and the bathrooms were fine. So basically it hits all the must haves. My only issue was that it is basically a parking lot with a whole lotta RV’s crammed into it. I guess I…

Nice Campground. Stayed in electric only site. Electric worked fine. Site was nice and level, yet short. State park was very nice. Of course, the falls are wonderful.
