Campsite on 40 hilltop acres in the sky Perched above the historic hamlet of Hillsdale, NY, enjoy your own private mountaintop with panoramic views of the Harlem Valley. Surrounded on three sides by a state park and a thousand-acre Audubon bird sanctuary, you’re just a quick walk down into town and only 20 minutes' drive from Hudson, NY or Great Barrington, MA. Enjoy 40 acres all to yourself or check out amazing, local hotspots like Bash Bish Falls, Tanglewood, Catamount Adventure Park, Copake Lake, and the Harlem Valley Rail Trail right at the foot of our hill. We have an incredible farmers' market on Saturdays, and Hillsdale is home to renowned Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Oldtone Roots Music Festival, and the new kid in town: Grillsdale. The Appalachian Trail is also nearby if you feel the need to jump on. This campsite has all the standard Tentrr offerings and we also provide a complimentary pile of firewood. COVID-19 UPDATE Under the present circumstances, we will NOT be offering all the sheets, pillows, and blanket. For everyone's security, it's best that the Tentrr guests bring all their own bedding. We will have all the standard Tentrr (trash can, solar shower etc) offerings sprayed with a bleach solutions between bookings and will clean zipper handles and any surfaces that are used. Sorry for this change, but we feel guests might feel more comfortable having their own bedding on hand. DO ask us about renting a pontoon boat on Copake Lake, or what our favorite nearby restaurants are (whether casual or fine dining) or most importantly in the summer: where the best swimming holes are. It's a truly magical place.
