Unsanitary water connection

The water connection for the fresh water is about an inch away from the sewer dump and is at the same level. Sewer contamination is probably very high. Would not hook my water to this no matter what.

Overnight stop

We called ahead and got the last available site. Person I talked to was very cheerful and helpful. FHU including cable and everything worked well. Some highway noise but not terrible. Nice kids playground and a dog area. Can't review toilets or showers but a lot of updates going on and looked nice.…

Nice out of the way place

We stayed 2 nights there when nothing around was available. When I called the young lady was very helpful getting us a spot. The sites are tight and are terraced up a hill. Nice dog park. We were thankful to get a spot at a busy time.

Great spot for a stop over

We stayed here for a couple days while on a longer trip. Good spots this place is HUGE lots and lots of pull through spots. They have a locked gate at the front which is a good thing since central street can be a little iffy with night life after dark. Very quite for being right next to I40 quite…

Lovely retreat in downtown Albuquerque

We've been full-timing for four years, and this was my first KOA stay. We were hesitant about the destination, since it was located in such a densely populated part of town. However the campground was clean, secure, the staff and other campers were friendly and courteous. Some of the facilities,…

Like Family

Everyone goes out of their way to help you....I'm a newbie....so for me that was real important. The park is in an ideal location, right at the interstate...about 15 minutes from Albuquerque...yet still nestled in enough to give it a peaceful surrounding.

Serviceable RV Park with clean bathrooms

The campground was pretty much a large parking lot, with rows of RVs. Our reservation said we would have a fire ring or grill but were told the one nearby was just for tent campers. There was a communal propane grill, and propane available for purchase, but the store was already closed when we…

Quiet stay off of I-40

We are full timers and love it here. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and keep everything neat and tidy. New bathrooms down by the office, and quiet life and very peaceful place!

Nice clean park with easy access

We needed a place to clean up before heading to Chaco Canyon for a few days. This place filled the bill nicely. The park was clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

But the best part is there is a brewery you can walk to from the campground. They serve organic pizza and cold beer. What more do…

Clean, good amenities

Good place to stop near Albuquerque. Right off the highway but traffic noise wasn’t too bad at night. Showers and laundry were clean. Has an enclosed area for dogs and playground for kids.

Kind of a pain

On our full hook up site the dump sight was in a bad place. We would of had to un hook from our truck to fully hook up. We only stayed one night and didn’t use any of the facilities.

Nice KOA with Friendly Staff

We stayed at this KOA for two nights during a cross country trip as we passed through Albuquerque in October 2020. The only reason I give 4 out of 5 stars and not 5 out of 5 stars is the urban location is not much to look at. The campground itself is very well-maintained and the staff are…

Great service

I made a reservation earlier in the day, pulled in after dark and was greeted by a gentleman on a golf cart. He asked my name, retrieved my registration info, and had me follow him to my campsite. So easy! Otherwise it's a nice clean RV park. If interstate road noise will bother your sleep, you…

Great for kids

The staff here are awesome, very friendly & always available to help with anything you need. Easy pull through spots. The playground has the best swing set and is all sand, very fun for kids of all ages.

Get the Full H/U site for best location

Stayed twice - once with full h/u, once with W/E. The FHU was a far better location with concrete pad, much less highway noise, and much better bathrooms. Sites are decent distance apart, not on top of each other but can certainly see each other. Sites are all nice and flat. Not much tree cover.…
