Santa Fe BLM

This is dispersed camping with mostly RVs, some vans, and a few tents and teepees. There are no hookups but near the entrance there is a building with two enclosed bathrooms. There is no trash collection so you must carry out everything you bring in. This is great free camping or just free…

Well maintained RV Park.

We only spent one night there but the location was perfect for our trip and very convenient to launch from the next day for our exploration of Taos. The site we stayed at had electric and water. It was not very level but we had no trouble getting our van leveled quickly. The staff was courteous and…

Rustic campground

Made reservations for 5 nights. Arrived and inadvertently set up camp in wrong space. Talked to the front office and they were very understanding. Let me stay in this site for 4 nights. I didn'tfeel like tearing down and setting up again. We'll cut our stay by one night. Even refunded me the fifth…

Gorgeous Camping

Beautiful camping near the Bandier National Monument. Sites are spaced fairly wide apart. No hookups. Toilets and water are available.

Tight and uneven

Close quarters and sights are not very level. Fairly expensive for not having a pool.

Great Base Point for Santa Fe Attractions

Friendly staff. Clean grounds and bathrooms. Urban location that has bus stop right outside that takes you downtown to Plaza for $1 senior or $2 regular all day pass.

Very clean but no shade

We stayed at the Buffalo Grove Site #66 for one night. If you have an RV/trailer, Buffalo Grove is the best loop as all have 30/50 Amp, city water hookup, covered table, lantern and paved sites. There are other loops in the campground that may have 50 amp and no water or 15/30 amp with water and…

One of our favorite Campgrounds in Santa Fe

This is one of our two favorite campgrounds in Santa Fe. The other is Santa Fe Skies. They each have a very different "feel" about them. In Rancheros you do not have the wide open view to the West for the amazing sunsets not the view to the east toward the mountains, but you have an intimate site…

Day or Overnight Trip

Tent and RV sites are large and spread out. Some sites have livestock pens, but I’m not sure on the campground policies. Hopewell Lake has tables for day picnics and is a popular fishing location. Be prepared for summer monsoon rains.

Total experience

At first you think oh no, it’s just a parking lot. You pull into your periphery space because you did reserve, and as you set up, you realize that all in front of your door there is open space. Trees, wild flowers. Maybe the stream.

The other campers come here as often as they can. They have…

Super spot

Great park sites are level and clean with good shade. The new owners are doing upgrades and are very pleasant to be with. We are looking forward to returning again for a great stay

Juniper Campground

Campground is clean and now has bear vaults at each site. The bathrooms were clean and are not lit at night. Find your flashlight. There are no showers. There is a mix of sites with some having more shade and privacy than others. A nice place to camp.

Quick stop over in Santa Fe

Nice older campground, some sites are spacious other may be tight for larger units. Overall good experience, very friendly staff. It’s literally 20 min to old Santa Fe, which is great.

Great Camping Near Santa Fe

Views here are stunning. Campground has both electric and water hookups. Bathrooms and showers are spotless. Really enjoyed a one night stay on our way from Santa Fe to Albaquerque.
