Nails-Glass -Garbage-Weird Traffic

The pics were gorgeous when we looked up this spot. Yes the water was beautiful, that's about it. Rocky, dusty, dirty. Oh did I mention NAILS and GLASS? Looks like locals party it up here.
Late at night vehicles would come and go. Drug deals? Who knows. Creepy feel, we left 2 days earlier…

Avalon lake NM

Close to town 6 miles. Lots of trash on the ground. Looks like a local party spot. Tons of nails from pallet fires! We picked one up and had to get a tire repaired.

Dirty, but great sunrise

Not the cleanest place. Beer bottles and cans left everywhere. Beware there is a lot of glass too. We’re able to find a cute spot close to the lake with a nice fire pit. Overall we were alone. Had some people come and go. I wouldn’t come here again, unless we had to.
