Eh

Prices pretty high considering those of the surrounding campgrounds to stay one night is $70 and there is only very much entertainment for the kids it was very loud with many people screaming and honking golf cart horns all day and also young children on golf carts seems to be a problem at this…

Good, but not great.

Bugs.

Mosquitos. Black flies. Deer flies. All of them biting.

Cool site, but super buggy.

Pine Haven Campground, Wentworth, NH

Multiple RVs, we were the only tent site at the time which made it very secluded and nice. Site was directly next to a babbling brook. There was a storm forecasted, and the groundskeeper told us if it got bad she could open the store for us to stay in. We had a van to sleep in so it was not…

Misuse of deposit policy

In my initial phone call to the campground, I reserved a site for 1 month and paid in full:

$700 monthly site fee

$35 gate card deposit

$200 deposit

8 days prior to what would have been my check in date, I canceled the reservation. After several discussions back& forth, Rox-Anne would only…

Absolutely awesome! Edited!

I will start with the ONLY drawback, and it is dramatic at best. For like 30 minutes a day at around 5pm (I was there Thursday to Monday) you would hear (pistol) gun fire. Its most annoying the first day, then you get over it.

Moving on…

This is absolutely the best kept and cleanest campground…

Wish we stayed longer

Decided to give this campground a shot based off of pictures of the lake. We were not deceived! The lake water is crystal clear (and warmer than expected). The campsite was perfectly fine for our pop up, with room to spare. Quiet, with a nice field for the kids to get some energy out in the…

  • Overview of campsite. A bit of a downhill angle to the site, but nothing that couldn't be worked out.

Peaceful and friendly

The campground is down a 3 mile road with nothing but woods. It sets a peaceful tone. The sides here are spaced out and some are very secluded. We stayed at a more open site (A1) with a road on both sides, but it wasn’t a problem due to it only being campground traffic. Our site was large enough…

A restful blend of beach and spruce

Last weekend, our family stayed at White Lake State Park for four days. While initially drawn to the campground because of its proximity to Chocorua, one of the most rewarding hikes in the Whites, we barely left the campground. We spend our days enjoying the park's pleasant beach and clear water.

  • Lots of hammock opportunities!
  • Level campsites equipped with fire rings and nice picnic tables
  • "Camp clean" bathrooms -- a little grimy but not gross

Nice campground

The campground is very friendly... a lot of seasonal folks. We had a nice corner site which fit our 34’ rig just fine. The sandy beach is nice but the swimming area is quite weedy. Our biggest issue though was the over-abundance of gypsy moth worms. Crawling over everything and the concern of…

Great Family Campground

Every summer, we would take the kids camping for a week at White Lake State Park and we all loved it. There’s a great beach with lots of room and a big Sandy swimming area. You can rent canoes, hike around the lake, and the kids could safely ride their bikes around the campground. There is a…

Almost all good

I have been camping here for my entire life. As a kid and teenage seasonal. Now as an adult I camp here probably once or twice a year with a tent.

This place has just about everything a campground can offer. Organized bingo, hayrides, large pools, an adult only pool, hot tubs, a pond, etc.

Most RVs, not a lot of privacy

90% of the campers are RVs here. They have sites along the river and a more wooden tent area as well. We stayed at the wooded tent area. I wish camp security would patrol more often as some campers would play excessively loud music throughout the weekend.

The river sites are pretty close together…

A well deserved 5 stars

My family and I have stayed at a KOA in Mystic, CT multiple times as a last resort. The service was terrible, grounds were terrible, and the amount of noise day and night were brutal. Naturally we had a bad taste in our mouth when a spot became available at Quechee KOA for memorial day weekend but…

Small hike into a great and private site

I recently stayed at site 1A over the Memorial day weekend(Late May/Early June). After a very quick checkin at the Park office, I headed out to my site. The site features a 200ft(60yd) hike in on a rustic trail. At the end of the trail you are greeted with a nice private site, and an equally…

Riverside Paradise

Most amazing spot I’ve ever camped and not too many people. Used the tent sides a quick hill walk down from the parking lot. River great for splashing around and nearby path to Lincoln Woods trail.
