THIS CAMPGROUND IS CLOSED
Our Camping area is located right on the rim of the majestic Palo Duro Canyon. We are only steps away from the entrance to the Palo Duro Canyon State Park, and miles away from the noise of civilization. All of our sites are level with easy access (pull-through). All sites have full hook-ups. Water, sewer drain and either 30 or 50 amp electric service, but not both. We have acres of "free range" tent camp and primitive camp sites available. Outdoor activities and the zip-line are all on site. Cooler temperatures! summer breeze means temps during the summer months are much cooler "on the rim. Strong cell phone coverage and local area. No steep roads to negotiate. The State Park has 10% grade roads which can be challenging for camp rigs.
Fee Info
Electricity – Electricity is free for daily and weekly stays – Monthly guests will pay for their electricity usage at the current market rate. Meters will be read on the first of every month. Your payment method on file will be charged automatically. You will receive a notification of upcoming and successful payments.

We reserved for Labor Day 2023. We cannot get ahold of anyone for anything. Won't answer phone calls or emails. Google reviews shows several others having similar issues. DO NOT BOOK. Website still allows reservations but park is not up and running.

Making a stopover here was fine. Full hookups close to Palo Duro State Park. Flat pull thru sites. No checkin persay, made reservations online and just went to site.
GuideHolding Pen
Not sure how we came up with the expression, but this is a great place to stay before or after your stay down in the Canyon. Full hook ups, easy sites, but not much else.
Seems most people are just the short term, but it worked out great for us to drive down into Canyon and do hikes and trails during day, then head back up to our RVHome.
