Cramped spots and weird picnic layouts
The lake is beautiful and we had great neighbors, but I would not come here again. Whoever designed the campground had no business doing so. The sites are three RVs crammed into a spot made for two with everyone on top of each other. You also have to walk through each other's picnic spots to get to…
No day use!
Beautiful campground with plenty of shade. Drive up spots for tents and full RV hookups. During hunting season gets full fast.
If you aren’t camping over night they don’t want you Day using the site :/
Lovely little spot
We stopped here to sleep before heading into the ojo caliente spa and baths. A very nice little spot with clean toilets. Make sure you have TP with you as some stations ran low or were out. Most of our time was spent exploring the baths and trails around ojo itself the following day before moving…

Directions
Just west of Quemado, NM, take State Rt. 32 south 14.2 miles to Quemado Lake/State Rt. 103 sign. At sign turn left onto Rt. 103 and go 4 miles to where Forest Rt. 13 (gravel) begins. Continue straight on Rt. 13 for 0.8 miles to campground sign. Turn right into campground.
