Clean, decent campground

This is a clean respectable camping area. No privacy between sites, but they are level and a good deal for $25/night. Our site had electric hookups with water nearby. I don't think there was a camphost. Some large pull throughs and smaller back ins. Playfields are nearby and we heard the happy…

Great location

Easy to get to location on the south side of Glacier Park. Wonderful hosts keep everything clean and are available to answer and questions. Stayed two nights and would definitely stay again if we get back that way.

Great FS Campground

This was the best FS campground I have ever stayed at, and I have stayed at many. It’s a loop with 13 sites. It has recently been redone with new tables, bear boxes, toilet, and pavement. The camp hosts were the greatest and were working to keep the campground in top condition. It is right off the…

Nice kick back spot

Great spot for launching rafts. Also very good choice for relaxing and getting away for a few hours to a day. Worked summer work near here and me and a group of friends would always come kick back here 🤘🏻

No services, but plenty of spaces

PSA: The road into the campground is rough and the bridge you have to cross is equally as rough. S.L.O.W. We rode through today looking for a place for a couple of nights. There was only 1 camper in the entire CG. There was a sign posted saying there were no services. Also, no alcohol was…

Gets the Job done

We were driving from Glacier to Yellowstone and didn't have a campsite.  Found this city park right off the highway going through Choteau that allowed camping in the park for just $10.  Seemed kind of sketchy when we pulled in in the dark at 10pm, but it served its purpose.  Looked like there was…

Everything you need and more!

We needed a place to stop for a night while driving from Glacier to Yellowstone and enjoyed it here so much we ended up staying 3 nights! Every one of the staff members (and their parents who were visiting) were so friendly and accommodating, and you could tell they all worked hard and took pride…

Great price for amenities!

We found this campsite on our way to Glacier National Park when we needed a tent site for the evening. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Only $22 for a site without electric hookups or $24 for one that does. The campground is very clean and offers showers, restrooms, laundry,…

Pleasant Surprise

With no reservations or plans before entering Glacier we stopped here on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The site is uniquely situated between the northern plains and Rockies and has excellent views of the mountains to the west and grasslands and buttes to the south. The staff were…

The Meadows

We booked this campgrounds so we could visit Glacier National Park. If that is your intent you need to get Go to the Sun Highway access tickets way in advance. We got luck and were able to visit the Highway by taking the bus trip.

The campground is about 45 minutes from the Going to the Sun…

A Hidden Gem

First of all, it’s free! Right off 89, 30 miles from 15. There is a bathroom, that’s clean enough. There are only two picnic table spots, but I was lucky enough to be one of only two vehicles parked for the night. The views are wonderful. It’s quite, and there are paths around the water. I took a…

Nice but windy and night and mosquitoes in the evening

Stayed there for a night arrived at 5pm and it’s an open area where you can find a table and camp there. I cooked and it was fine but late in the evening after sunset there will be lot of mosquitoes so better be prepared and there will lot gusting wind at night.

Amazing campsites with plenty of space 15 min from Two Medicine Lake

This campground is right outside the Two Medicine entrance to Glacier National Park, just as you turn off of Highway 49 onto Two Medicine Rd. It is operated by members of the Blackfeet Tribe on their ancestral land and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. When we stayed there, all the campgrounds…
