Surprising oasis

In an area of mostly open fields, this KOA is filled with nice trees. It is a very large campground with RV sites, cabins, and tent sites. This is a very kid friendly campground, almost too much. Twice within an hour a train full of kids rolled by my site shouting. There is a large playground,…

Needs some work

This campground is okay however it needs some maintenance. It’s seems like several of the sites need to be cleaned up and re-leveled. They were working on the volleyball site when we visited so maybe they are in the middle of renovations? The cabins in the back had some nice views and for the most…

Simple yet perfect

The campground was closed for the season as we stayed in late September.  That meant free!  No bathrooms or water but it wasn't needed.  Locals loop through the park regularly but it was not bothersome.  Great little burger spot across the street with nice staff.  Fishing is great in these parts!

A little quiet stay

A little over-priced but super cute and fairly dispersed.

Clean and Efficient

We stayed one night here. It is a nice campground in an urban area. It seemed that it needed a little landscape maintenance and was a bit dusty. Most everything was shut down for the season which is something to keep in mind if you visit in the fall.

You're in a zoo!

Rams and deer come right up to your RV. The facility itself is dated but has bathrooms and laundry

Quiet, remote gem along a beautiful babbling brook

Wonderful, quiet site along a little-used forest road. We had the site at the end of the road, which is very close to the babbling brook, leading to Mill Falls. Plenty of space at this site, although the other three main sites are smaller and closer together. There are two overflow sites nearer to…

  • Spacious campsite at the end of the road. Cooling shade, plenty of flat spots for tents, and lots of trees for hammocks!
  • Perfect place for our REI Camp Dome 6 (10'x10').
  • The stunning hike to 'Our Lake'

Beautiful!

This was a breath of fresh area after hours of range land driving. The last 5 miles of the road in is dirt. It is navigable with any size vehicle but slow. The campground was quiet except the sound of the river. Half of the sites are on the riverside but they don't have a direct view of the river.…

Great place for an overnight!

We stayed one night on our way through the area. It was convenient. The campsites are plentiful and not as close to eachother as others. Bathrooms spotless. After hours check-in was a breeze! Will use again.

Great Place To Stay

This is a nice campground just off the interstate. Not to far from Glacier Park and the Canadian boarder.

Very Quiet

About 10-15min drive off of the highway. Last half is gravel. Three hiking trails nearby. Clean long drop toilet. Cold water. $15.00 per night. No power. Big level lots for trailers. The trailhead gets busy with hikers and horse trailers.

Basic RV park

We decided to not stay here, because we are tent camping this trip. If you have an RV or Trailer, this would be a good stop if you are in Great Falls.

Nice city campground walking distance to town

Hooper Park is a nice city park on the east side of town which contains a camping area. The campground has RV sites with electric and water hookup and sites with out hookups for tent camping. Campsites sit in a nice flat grassy area under large ponderosa pines. Restroom facilities area available as…

Small free campground with plenty to do

Atkinson Park Campground at the north west corner of Cascade offers free camping at the north end of the park. Camping at the park appears to most suited to RV camping as they don't want any camping outside of the parking pads due to not wanting damage to their sprinkler system. That being said it…
