Lovely amd well kept

This is a great stop if you need a place to crash. The train and the highway are adjacent to the campground so the noise was an issue for us. There is also a shooting range nearby. Overall very clean and friendly.

Great campground!

Memorial day weekend 2021 fee $15 / night . Clean vault toilets...good well water lots of space between sites. Our only misfortune was Hotshot crews and Helicopters were practicing repelling all weekend in the forest around the campground.

Busy location

Enjoyed my stay but it is in a very busy location. You either access the campground through a busy downtown area or a narrow residential area. The campground itself is very large but crowded. The RV sites have some space between them but not a lot. The tent sites are nicely surrounded by trees. The…

Montana at its best

This is a great campground in a great location. Lots to do both in the campground and in the city. Lots of breweries and casinos located downtown. You can drive to many hiking trails. Many rivers to fly fish in the area. We have stayed in this campground for 5 or 6 years in a row. Friendly staff.

Simple camping

This was a quick spot when traveling to Yellowstone. Easy to access from I-90. Not a huge place and no showers. But the bathrooms are clean, the campgrounds have space and you get to listen to the river. Unfortunately the fishing wasn’t superb based on the river run off for the season. But it…

Good early season spot

Good spot that’s just short of salmon and seely lake. It gets really packed in the summer but if you can go earlier in the year or mid week should be ok. Road getting in is dirt and gravel with some pot holes but nothing a travel trailer or midsize 5th wheel couldn’t do. Spots vary in size and side…

Nice campground on Rock Creek

Harry's Flat campground is a great campground along Rock Creek, set in a huge old growth ponderosa pine forest.  The sites are large, especially the ones bordering right up to Rock Creek. The campground has 15 campsites each with Picnic tables and metal fire rings.  The campground has vault toilets…

Unpretentious, Spacious Sites

Loved it here - great feel, good neighbors, large sites and a fantastic river location.  The sites were right off the campground road... a Bjorn no-no... but I can imagine this being the go-to campground choice of a few in-the-know individuals.

Hidden gem.

This small campground is located right along Rock Creek and only 16 miles off the interstate. Campsites are non reservable, but WOW....sites 2, 3, and 5 have direct Creek access. Listening to the water at night was amazing. This stretch has a number of small campgrounds. The road is narrow, so…

Convenient Stop in Missoula

This KOA is conveniently located for a quick overnight stop. We were passing through Montana and needed a full hookup site to rest and recharge before another long day of driving. The camp staff was very friendly and accommodating, even with our late arrival. It’s located a couple blocks off a busy…

New Favorite . . .

This place is on my shortlist for favorites for my week long getaway with my daughter who is 5. To be honest I was a bit concerned after reading a couple reviews describing the place. But hey, we all have bad days, and if I can read 90% positive vibe from a review I will check it out. I will say…
