Rough Road, Big Views

We were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful views and quiet sites at Revenue Flats. It was well worth the 5 mile rough road with steep climb at the end. We drove a F450 with triple slide truck camper and made it ok. Also saw a 2 wheel drive 30 foot class C motorhome that made it but would not…

Beautiful Campground and Hot Springs!

We are Bozemanites who just bought our first travel trailer and decided to take it for a test run close to home just in case. I was impressed by the large grassy areas between the pull thrus and the beautiful landscaping and mature trees.

We also enjoyed visiting the hot springs during our…

  • We enjoyed the really spacious pull-thru with wide, grassy areas between the sites.
  • Take-Away Breakfast - there is a beautiful dining space and patio to enjoy. I believe this version of breakfast is prompted by Covid.
  • The campground is well-maintained, clean, and beautifully landscaped.

Views are fantastic

Just arrived for a 3 night stay. Greetings were friendly and an escort to our site and help backing in was a bonus. Sites are close but we plan on visiting the sites and not spending our days at our site. Temps turned for the worst yesterday and it is only Sept. 19. Did not come prepared with…

Staying outside of Yellowstone

Overall it is a decent place. Has all the hookups for our trailer. Has bathrooms and shower which we’re clean. Showers were also clean. Sites were not leveled. There were ElK droppings in our site. Part of the rustic experience since Elk were everywhere. The best part was being on the river and…

Great Stay in Big Sky

This is a beautiful campground right on the Gallatin River near Big Sky. Spaces are well spaced out, electric & non-electric available. The vault toilets were clean & well maintained. We loved the raised firepit with the swivel grate for cooking over. Take the time to explore along the…

Easy access and off the road so it was quiet. I was in my truck tent so quiet matters to me.

Large spacious campground

Harrison Lake FAS campground is a large spacious campground with most campsite being well spread out from each other.  The fishing access site has several vault toilets, which is nice for how large of an area the campground occupies.  Each campsite has a picnic table and a metal fire ring.  Plenty…

Super Nice Hosts and Quiet Campground!

Mike and Amy (camp hosts) could not have been nicer!

They took a real interest in their visitors, which is a rarity at national forest campgrounds (in my experience).

The site was about 30 minutes from both Big Sky and Bozeman and right on Storm Castle Creek.

Campground was quiet and nestled…

One of our favorites

Right next to Gallatin River next to highway. Great spot for flyfishing and dog walking on leash.

Older campground..

I purchased my stay online, when I finally got here, which it wasn’t easy to find… The office is actually a house, which no one was around… But I did have a site number with my confirmation… So I parked in the site assigned to me… Definitely not a level site… OK if you need a place to stay……

Quiet spot by the Jefferson River

We arrived on a smokey evening, Butte was over 250 AQI and our face masks came in handy. Fortunately, the campground was around 130 AQi.

Sweet campground.

Great little campground about a 40 minute drive south of Bozeman. You need to drive down about 3 miles of a dusty gravel road but well worth it. 20 sites in total. Most along the river. $16 a night. The toilet. Highly recommend.

Great KOA Campground

We were there Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. Crazy busy everywhere. Booked a couple days in advance and the only spot they had available was a deluxe back in site. Normally wouldn’t pay that much but nothing else available in the area. It was a beautiful site backing right up to Yellowstone river. …
