This is a great backcountry spot that starts from Chief Mountain at the Canadian border in Glacier National Park. You will have opportunities to filter water, catch shade, fish, take in amazing views, and push yourself physically on this hike to the camp. The fishing is not particularly great at this lake, but wildlife is of course very abundant. The aItes are all on the water’s edge and the temp wIll drIp conaIderably at night. Bring bear spray and mosquito repellent. As always, practice total backcountrysafety.
