## Overview

Hawker Point Campground is a shady campground located on Stockton Lake in the scenic Ozark Mountains of southwestern Missouri. The lake and surrounding landscape offer countless recreational opportunities along its nearly 300 miles of shoreline, providing visitors with many ways to explore one of the most sought-after natural areas in the state.

## Recreation

Boating is always a popular pastime at the lake. Sail boating is especially popular and the lake hosts several races each year. The facility provides a boat ramp for easy access to the water.   
  
The waters of Stockton Lake are home to several species of fish including small and largemouth bass, crappie, white bass, walleye, catfish and sunfish, making it an ideal area for anglers.   
  
Several trails wind around the lake shore and through the landscape. The Stockton Lake Equestrian Trail continues approximately 15 miles between Hawker Point and Orleans Trail Campgrounds.

## Facilities

Hawker Point Park offers 62 campsites. Amenities like showers, a dump station and flush toilets create a comfortable camping environment.   
  
A boat ramp, picnic area and horse trail provide additional recreation opportunities, and a few non-electric sites are located near the equestrian trailhead, where horses can be kept. 

## Natural Features

The land surrounding the lake contains hundreds of acres of native prairie grasses, rolling hills and thick forests that turn crimson in autumn. An abundance of wildlife lives both in and around the water, including wild turkey, great blue heron, deer and bald eagles. Visitors can learn about the lake's bald eagles by attending an annual eagle-watching event during the winter.

There are three full-service marinas located around the lake, which offer a wide range of services and supplies, including boat rentals, fuel, fishing tackle and restaurants.

A boat ramp and beach are conveniently located just outside the entrance to Ruark Bluff East and West parks.

There is a $10 cancellation fee for all reservations. A $10 fee is also applied when changing reservation dates. If you would like to modify your reservation during the original dates, you can do so for no additional fee.

The campground is divided into north and south: non-electric sites, the showers and beach are in Orleans Trail North; and non-electric individual sites and the group camping area are in Orleans Trail South. An equestrian trailhead where horses can be kept is located in the south portion.

Ruark Bluff West

Arrowhead Point RV Park is a quiet, secluded park with 44 level, full-hookup, pull-through sites. There are shade trees throughout the north end of the property, while the southern end is clear for satellite signal. We have a bath house, laundry, and WiFi. There are 2 clubhouses for group or club gatherings, with full kitchens, seating areas, and bathrooms. There are also 4 cabins on the property that range in price and amentities, starting at $25/night. 

Arrowhead Point RV Park & Campground

Located on the northeast side of the main body of the lake, Crabtree Cove offers a nice view of the dam and great access to fishing. This part of Stock Lake Campgrounds has 59 campsites and includes universally accessible sites, tent only sites, non-electric RV sites, and 30 amp electric sites. Facilities include: shower house, dump station, boat ramp with courtesy dock, fishing dock, playground, and picnic areas. The regular fee season is 16 April thru 30 September; the shoulder season is 15 March thru 15 April and 1 October thru 30 November; camping is free the rest of the year.

The clear waters of Stockton Lake beckon visitors to water ski, scuba dive, swim or fish. And Stockton State Park is the perfect place to do it. It’s a perfect place for sailing – with a perpetual southwest breeze and a nationally recognized sailing school housed at the marina. Two boat launches make it easy to get in the water, as does a swimming beach. Want to stay on land? The park is great for photographing wildlife, picnicking with the family, hiking or just reveling in the beauty of southern Missouri. The park also offers a range of lodging from campsites to cabins. Stockton Lake camping is perfect for families and water recreation enthusiasts.

Fishing, hunting, camping, sailing, boating and scuba diving are popular activities.

## Recreation

Boating is a popular pastime at the lake. Sailing is especially popular and the lake hosts several races each year. The campground provides two boat ramps for easy access to the water. A swimming beach and an accessible fishing dock are also on-site.  
  
The waters of Stockton Lake are home to several species of fish including small and largemouth bass, crappie, white bass, walleye, catfish and sunfish, making it an ideal destination for anglers.

## Facilities

Cedar Ridge Park is open year round. It offers 54 campsites, many of which have electric hookups. Twelve sites have been established for tent camping only. Flush toilets, showers, drinking water and a dump station are provided.
