Sparrowfoot Campground is situated on the Grand River Arm of the Harry S. Truman Lake in the hills of western Missouri. Visitors enjoy fishing, hunting and boating.
Sparrowfoot is an excellent fishing location. Truman Lake is also a popular destination for tournament fishermen.
This campground offers 83 sites, 56 of those include 50-amp electric hookups and water hookups; along with 27 sites with 30-amp electric hookups. Two day-use group picnic shelters are also available, making the area perfect for large parties or family functions. Amenities include flush and pit toilets, showers, drinking water, laundry facilities, playground, a dump station and boat ramp.
A mosaic of hardwood forests and grasslands covers the area's rolling hills. Rocky bluffs extend into the lake.__ Wildlife such as whitetail deer, turkey, hawks, ospreys, eagles, and many different water birds can be found in and around the park.__ An abundance of fish such as crappie, bass, walleye, paddlefish, blue and channel catfish can also be found in Harry S Truman Reservoir. Approximately 8,800 acres of standing timber were left in the lake to provide quality aquatic habitat.__
Katy Trail State Park, the nation's longest rails-to-trails project, is nearby. This unique park stretches from Clinton to Machens, with dozens of trailheads in between. Biking and hiking are allowed on the entire length of the trail, and horses are allowed from Clinton to Sedalia.

With over 35 level, full-hookup, pull-through sites with a mix of sun and shade, there are sites to fit almost everyone's needs. In addition, Arrowhead Point has cabins available for weekend getaways or vacations. The two clubhouses (Sho-Me MO and Texas) are also located on the property for special occasions or just to have a cup of coffee! These clubhouses have fully-equipped kitchens, restrooms with showers, tables, and chairs. The TX clubhouse has a pool table and the laundry facility entry is on the back porch of the MO clubhouse). These clubhouses can be reserved for larger groups or special events including but not limited to wedding receptions, parties, retirements, game nights, movie nights, etc. Hang out at your RV site, take a walk in the woods, or stop by one of the clubhouses for a game of cards or pool.
