Basswood Country Inn and destination RV Resort in Platte City, Missouri, about 20 miles north of Kansas City, offers 155 full hook-up sites with 30 / 50 amp electric, water, sewer, 24 channels of cable TV, WI-FI and much more. 415 camp sites are available at Crow's Creek Campground. Both tent and RV sites are available with several including electrical hook-ups. Loop A offers sites that are designated for our equestrian campers. Playground conveniently located in center of campground. Many sites are located along the shoreline with easy access to walking trails. Shower and laundry facilities are conveniently located in the campground. Many sites are located along the shoreline where you could bank your boat at your own risk. Firewood and bagged ice are available for sale while camp hosts are on duty. All sites have a picnic table and a fire ring with grill.

Smithville Lake Camping offers 352 sites, some with electric. RV and tent camping sites. Many of the sites are on the shoreline of Smithville Lake. The immediate area offers fishing, boating, hiking, biking, swimming and a playground.

Camp in meadow bordered by wooded area and streams. Walking distance to Harmony Lake: a private 12-acre lake for fishing, swimming and paddle boats. Lake is home to record large-mouth bass and Missouri's longest free-floating walkway leading to a private island. Dyrt Campers receive personal entry code to Harmony Lake gate. 15-minutes from highway. One hour to sites and attractions of Kansas City. 15-minutes to Lexington historic district or Odessa.
