GuideGreat place quiet clean
I was on my way to St. Louis MO. And need a place for the night. This is just few miles from hwy 70 east to reserve and pay on the phone. I t was nice they I put my tent instead of sleeping on the car. Recommended

Nice woods setting but they need to level the camp sites. We had our choice of sites and picked the one that looked closest to level but still a long way off. Bathrooms and showers were old but useable.

I picked this State Park as a convenient stopover for the night. I only give it three stars because there's no water hookups. Site 41 was level. Bathhouse was clean. The namesake cave was underwhelming. Hiking trails are available. If you have the chance to visit Hermann, MO, about 20 miles away, very charming town on the MO River
