## Overview

 Eagle Rock is a spacious and grassy campground located on the White River Arm of Table Rock Lake in the Missouri countryside.Eagle Rock is conveniently located right off Highway 86, 3 miles south of Eagle Rock, MO. 
## Recreation

 Whether on water or land, Eagle Rock Campground offers visitors countless recreational activities. Picnicking, swimming, scuba diving, boating, fishing, hiking and wildlife viewing are all popular pastimes at the park. Eagle Rock features a full-service marina servicing all your boating and water recreation needs. While the lake boasts an abundance of crappie, catfish, and bluegill, Table Rock is most famous for bass, and is acclaimed as one of the best bass fishing lakes in this hemisphere. Table Rock Lakeshore Trail, about 2 miles long, runs from the Dewey Short Visitor Center to the Table Rock State Park Marina. During the spring hikers will see dogwood, serviceberry and redbud trees in bloom as well as many wildflower species. During the autumn months, visitors are treated to nature\'s colorful fall foliage. The trail also offers beautiful views of Table Rock Lake. ## Facilities

 Eagle Rock Campground offers 51 reservable campsites. Amenities like hot showers, drinking water, a dump station and electric hookups create a comfortable camping experience. A beach, boat ramp, playground and volleyball court make the campground perfect for family trips.
## Natural Features

 Table Rock Lake is a beautiful body of water surrounded by a forest of oak and hickory trees. Its waters wind down through the valleys and hollows of the Ozark Mountains, from Branson, Missouri to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. More than five million visitors per year take advantage of this recreational oasis. Originally built for flood control, the Table Rock Dam has created a lake that boasts 779 miles of shoreline for the public to enjoy. 
## Nearby Attractions

 The Dewey Short Visitors Center is located at the south end of Table Rock Dam. It offers three educational films focused on the history of the dam, the story of Lewis and Clark and the history of eagles and their endangerment in the state of Missouri. The visitor center also contains exhibits about the natural history of the area. Those visitors arriving by boat can take advantage of the courtesy dock. Eagle Rock Campground is about 40 miles from Branson, Missouri, which offers grocery stores, gas and additional tourist attractions.

Eagle Rock

I went camping at Eagle Rock due to my usual spot on Beaver Lake being full that weekend. I had never been there so i decided to give it a shot. It was a nice quiet spot right on Table Rock Lake. The campsites were reasonably spread out and was very shady and nice. I bought two camping spots for me and my 3 other friends and it ended up being way more room than we needed! I will say that campsite 3 is not even land but plenty of trees and great for hammock campers! We ended up using site 4 for all of us and it was great. It had a bench table, fire pit and small other table off to the side. I took my dog and he had plenty of room to play too. A great time all around!

Great quiet spot on Table Rock Lake

The campground is split by highway 86 with the east side being all paved sites for RVs. It also has the marina. The west side is more wooded and has several sites for tent camping. The sites down by the beach and boat launch are non electric. As mentioned in the other review, the traffic noise is noticeable as is the boat launch traffic, but if you can ignore that this is a great place to relax and enjoy the water. 

Great place to relax

Camped here twice in tents and kayaks. Enjoyed it immensely because sites 12 - 15 have easy access to the water. Large swimming area. Nice fishing spots. The campground is built on a hill, so from the sites previously mentioned there is a fairly good trek up the hill to the toilets/showers. Only two shower stalls available so on a busy night, you might have to wait.  This place has a very popular day use area, but it does make for great people watching. Boat docks are busy places into the night. The attendants take good care of the place, and you are a short drive to Eureka Springs and Berryville, Arkansas. Also there is a convenience store and a Dollar General just a few miles away. 

Second Time

This was a beautiful, but noisy and crowded campground by the water. We had site 9 which had a small trail to the rocks down by the water which would’ve been amazing to fish from. We walked down and enjoyed the views for a bit, then walked around part of the campground to see the swim area. Lantern hooks are available at campsites. Nice bathroom facilities. There’s only 2 showers so go at a non-peak time or you’ll be waiting in line. There’s no hand soap so bring your own for after using the bathroom. They clean the bathrooms twice a day. Fires are allowed but bring your own wood. They don’t sell it at the campground and the closest store ran out quick. 

**We made the mistake of staying here one night on Labor Day weekend.** It was totally full, people were still rolling in after 10pm to set up with headlights blaring into other campers’ sites. People were very noisy with no concern of other campers. We had a large family 3 sites away from us set up at 9:30pm and continued to allow they’re kids to scream and shout and make crazy loud noise until nearly 1 am. The adults were loud, too. If you stay here in a tent, bring ear plugs to help with the noise. We were exhausted and wish we had reserved a night somewhere else. There was no one to answer a noise complaint call at the campground phone line and clearly no active camp hosts in the evening to enforce rules.
