Tentrr State Park Site - Mississippi Wall Doxey State Park - Woodland C - Single Camp

Centered around a 60-acre, spring-fed lake, Wall Doxey is located in northern Mississippi just 50 minutes SE of Memphis, TN, and 7 miles from historic Holly Springs. It's also a short, 25-minute drive from The University of Mississippi offering a great tailgating location for Ole Miss fans.

During their stay, campers can enjoy a hike on the Wall Doxey Trail, a moderate 1.9-mile loop around Spring Lake with a 4-star rating on All Trails. Wall Doxey offers two disc golf courses, and is also a popular fishing destination; there is a boat ramp in the park. Note: There is no swimming allowed on Spring Lake. For families with young children, there is a playground to explore.

Beyond the park's borders, a popular attraction is the nearby town of Holly Springs which features several historic districts. You can visit antique shops, restaurants, museums, and over 100 historic homes and buildings in the Holly Springs area. If you are a steak-lover, you might also plan a meal out at the Marshall Steak House, named Best Steakhouse in Mississippi and only a 15-minute drive from the park.

Woodland C is a shaded drive-in located about one mile from the park entrance. Your campsite features a 10 x 12 platform tent with a queen bed as well as a pop-up tent that can accommodate 4 additional campers. A picnic table, firepit and two Adirondack chairs are also included. Campers will have access to modern bathhouses for showers and restroom facilities. And, if the temperatures dips, you can keep warm with the propane heater inside the main platform tent.

Interaction with Guests: Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.

If a Camp Guide submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Other Things to Note: Check-in is at 2 pm. Beds in the canvas tents have memory foam mattresses but be sure to bring your own bedding, food, and firewood. Pop-up tent comes packed. No running water at this site - a Tentrr Loo, Coleman Sun Shower and a 5-gallon water jug are provided. Anything you pack in, you must pack out. Trash must be thrown away in the designated dumpster at the end of your stay. All sites are inspected for damages and cleanliness after each use and before the next renter. Failure to follow these guidelines can result in a minimum cleaning fee of $50. A Mississippi fishing license is required for all persons between the ages of 16 and 65. Licenses may be purchased at the park office for a nominal fee. All campers should check themselves for ticks after exploring the park.
