Beautiful State Park

This is not my first time here but I am really impressed with some of the upgrades. Many sites now have long concrete pads. My 37’ 5th wheel and truck easily fit on the site.

Okay for overnighter

Got in late at night, so was nice of a ranger to call me with the gate combination. Hard to navigate the campground at night, and, when I finally found our reserved site, someone else had taken it. Didn’t look like a reserved sign was posted. The next site over was open—and also without a reserved…

My experience at Fairview Riverside State Park

It's a nice campground not many shady sites only a few. The back of the campground is on the river beautiful back there. Bath houses are clean. Peaceful and nice sights electric is upgraded. No sewer. Traffic on main road outside of campground can be very heavy at times.

Very Nice

Very well maintained park with a pleasant staff. Some longer term folks but that section is very nice as well. We'll be back for sure.

Fontainebleau State Park

There are two campgrounds here. The north and south the north campground has more trees. There are no sewer hookups there is a dump station. There are no activities planned here so you're on your own. It is close to anything you need within 10 mi. The campground is located on the shores of lake…

Very nice, but lots of bugs

This site was quite nice.  Loved the beach area and the picnic areas, and the live oaks are to die for.  There are also historical relics there and an museum which were very very nice.

Only downfall we could see was the sheer amount of bugs.  We brought a bug zapper, thank god, and that…

Great Getaway

Had a pull in site. Great view, spacious sites, lots of trees and space. Horrible deer flies. Make sure you bring a screen tent to enjoy the outdoor sitting. Lots of critters…raccoons, squirrels, and deer. Will definitely be back

Great campground

Just completed our first non-tent camping experience with our new camper. Fontainebleau was the perfect spot. Easy to navigate, lots of really good campsites, clean, air-conditioned restrooms. Tons of wildlife and a great splash park for the kids. Nice nature trails. Can’t wait to go back.

Hike, Bike, Paddle, Swim...What Else Do You Need?

Pulled into this State Park after dark and snagged on open site on a Thursday night.

Little did I know I snagged a 'premium' site so it was $34.

The second night I chose a primitive site for a more reasonable $18.

Nice restroom and shower facilities kept very clean 2x a day. Showers weren't…

Small Sites but Good Fishing

The park has a few primitive spots, but everything is small and close. Hiking trail is maybe a half mile, but that’s about it. There is a beautiful boardwalk on the Tchefuncte River, though, with great fishing.

Up & coming park Not there yet, but coming.

When we arrived the bottom land loops were closed due to recent floods. The upper loop has paved roads, pads were decent size with huge gravel rocks. Well spaced sites  mostly level. Not a lot of shade, but still nice. signs of work being done every where, from parking areas to hiking trails. Very…
