Convenient for Exploring Fargo

Snagged a spot here for an overnight visit to Fargo.

Super friendly staff and a nice spot right along the Red River.

Great for families too because it is right in the middle of a city park!

I 94 in your backyard.

Very small sites for RV camping. Doubt we had 14 ft in between. Add to that the noise coming off of the I 94 bridge. Doubt we will be back.

It is big and nice

92,000 acres and a chill vibe. Sites at Knoll Campground are nicely spaced out. I can see the lake and hear loons calling. I only wish there were more swimming .

Great for families

On the Gunflint Trail  off the beaten path! Get away from it all...really. No cell to bother you here! On Flour Lake with great service from the staff. Sights are close and tight but have nice tree and foliage growth between sites. No full hook up...but dump station on site. Fishing dock and boat…

Lake fun

We only stayed overnight while traveling through, but this was a really nice spot. Not the most private sites but big enough. Families seemed to be having a lot of lake fun.

Great place!

We stayed in V5. Not lakeside but nicely secluded. There is a nice beach and the lake is clear. There is a big playground, basketball court, and ball field. The store has necessities and they will even make you a pizza and deliver to your site. In the afternoon they have a hay ride (without the…

Unique Oak Haven

My first and not going to be the last campout here. Beautiful sites, trails, very friendly and knowledgeable ranger. Took our 40' through the 1212 trail and was quite concerned I had gotten a little bold with following an unknown gps destination. It worked out but was very close as was also pulling a…

Small town park

4 grass spots with 30 amp electric picnic table and trash cans. Dump station at the pay box but no water. Found a business that let us fill our tanks. Bathroom across from the sites. Quiet park very nicely kept. Laundry mat across the street. Would stay here again.

Nice area but privacy is limited

This park has a lot of camping spaces but privacy within the campground is limited. It’s located right off I94 just outside of Barnesville. Across the highway is a softball field and play area that overlooks Whiskey Creek. The Whiskey Creek area provides a very pretty view with a low waterfall…

Nice walking & biking trails

Lindenwood Park is a very nice campground with an abundance of shelters, children’s play areas, and walking/hiking trails. Campers have two areas for parking RVs with both an upper & lower (riverside) rv Park. There is some noise overflow from the Interstate but the surroundings are tranquil…

Several decent hammock camping sites

As primarily a hammock camper I am often frustrated with trying to find sites online. So I wanted to say that Buffalo River State Park, in addition to some very good prairie and woodland trails, as some excellent sites for hammock campers. Specifically those in the non-electric sites. This park has…
