Beautiful destination

Little Bay De Noc, Lake Michigan access with a pier. Only a few campsites, but includes group fire pit, playground and proximity to Pictured Rocks, 1 hour. Lots of hiking and great motorized non-motorized off-road trails.

Excellent new campground

Open, level gravel sites and some concrete pads scattered throughout this pretty new campground. A few baby trees in the open meadow are trying to get started, but other than those there is no shade. We stayed in a full hook up 50 amp site, and experienced no power issues despite 2 days of…

We love this campground!

We love Tourist Park, and will definitely be coming back! It’s on the back side of the city of Gwinn, which is a smaller more run down little town, 18 miles from Marquette. But this little campground is well kempt! Quiet and relaxing, tucked in the woods with a nice hiking trail, picnic tables,…

Beautiful, quiet, secluded

The road that the GPS told us to go down was closed but if you follow the sign posts they'll take you the right way. The sites offer privacy and beautiful lakeside views under canopies of trees. The toilets are minimalist but fine. The ambience is amazing. We fell asleep to the sound of Loons over…

Beautiful spot to camp

We got one of the spots closer to the road but turned out great! These spots don't have quite the lake view but seem to feel more quiet and secluded. The lake views were gorgeous, amenities fine. We found this after leaving another spot closer to Marquette that felt uninviting despite all the…

Beautiful area

This campground has 18 sites, lots of little walking paths, as well as hiking trails that lead you to other nearby lakes that don't have access for vehicles. Those other lakes also allow for hike in camping for a more remote setting, even though this campground is fairly remote itself. There is a…

Newer Campground and Well Laid Out

My family stayer here for five night this past June. Reservations and deposit was easy to do online. Their reservation system was easy to use, able to pick out site and was also able to do some more extensive search criteria on it as well to check availability. The office is a small building as you…

A Peaceful Campground with Things to Do In Camp

Despite being close to the road, Northland Outfitters is a quiet, peaceful little campground. With aonly 14 camping sites and 4 cabins, it is small.

Our site (#6) was located right on the Manistique River.

There is a horseshoe pit, volleyball court, canoe, and kayak rentals available.…

New Park

Nice new park. More trees would be nice as it was quite windy when we visited. Good location.

Peaceful sites by a very pretty lake

This place is very quiet with good separation between sites and lots of trees. The sites on the water are stunning but the sites on the other side are more standard (but still nice). This was a great way to car camp near pictured rocks without dealing with the closer campsites that are booked well…

Family camping trip

River site#8. Beautiful river view. Saw ducks, hawks, fish getting caught from 2 sites away. Fun to watch the excitement! Clean bath house. Great shower. Could use a little more playground area for little ones. But, the tire swing was nice. Sandy area for the volleyball net was a nice sand area…

Wonderful small park

This was our 1st stop in the UP and we couldn’t be more pleased. We originally had a 10 day reservation and enjoyed it so much that we extended it for another 10 days. Beautiful natural swimming area in the rear of the property and we picked blueberries and raspberries right here on premise. Hope…
