Beautiful destination

Little Bay De Noc, Lake Michigan access with a pier. Only a few campsites, but includes group fire pit, playground and proximity to Pictured Rocks, 1 hour. Lots of hiking and great motorized non-motorized off-road trails.

Excellent new campground

Open, level gravel sites and some concrete pads scattered throughout this pretty new campground. A few baby trees in the open meadow are trying to get started, but other than those there is no shade. We stayed in a full hook up 50 amp site, and experienced no power issues despite 2 days of…

Professionally Done!

Located just off the highway but out of earshot of the major noise, this campground is awesome!

The sites are well maintained and we required no additional leveling. Sturdy and maintained picnic table at each site. Electric at our site -39- was error free. Water pressure is excellent. Wonderful…

We love this campground!

We love Tourist Park, and will definitely be coming back! It’s on the back side of the city of Gwinn, which is a smaller more run down little town, 18 miles from Marquette. But this little campground is well kempt! Quiet and relaxing, tucked in the woods with a nice hiking trail, picnic tables,…

Rowdy Campground, Unprofessional Management.

The campground itself was kinda trashed + kids toys everywhere. The bathrooms were dirty and “out of order” like feces on the floor dirty. They had live music every night during the summer, which started at 7 and went well past midnight. We stayed for a couple hours before packing up and leaving…

Beautiful, quiet, secluded

The road that the GPS told us to go down was closed but if you follow the sign posts they'll take you the right way. The sites offer privacy and beautiful lakeside views under canopies of trees. The toilets are minimalist but fine. The ambience is amazing. We fell asleep to the sound of Loons over…

Beautiful spot to camp

We got one of the spots closer to the road but turned out great! These spots don't have quite the lake view but seem to feel more quiet and secluded. The lake views were gorgeous, amenities fine. We found this after leaving another spot closer to Marquette that felt uninviting despite all the…

Newer Campground and Well Laid Out

My family stayer here for five night this past June. Reservations and deposit was easy to do online. Their reservation system was easy to use, able to pick out site and was also able to do some more extensive search criteria on it as well to check availability. The office is a small building as you…

My literal home away from home during my travels.

I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say. I am more one to frequent rustic and secluded campgrounds. I found this place on a whim years ago... and now JackPine has a special place in my heart.

When I need to truly rest my bones, this is my go to in this neck of the woods.

Clean and…

Perfect for trail riding SXS or snowmobiles

Great campground!

Book early to get a spot. It’s clean, quiet and caters to riders. It has a shower building, 2 washers and 2 dryers, restaurant, store (only open certain hours), ice, dump station and 91 octane fuel on site. There is direct trail access from the property, and they provide a free…

Awesome Site

Great site located between two lakes. In response to the previous review, your best directions will come from locating the site on your GPS (in our case Google Maps) and dropping a pin. That took us straight to the location no problem. Totally legit dispersed camp site. Will definely be going back.…

just ok.

it was alright, just not a comfortable camping experience. the sites were nice enough, but the seasonal campers spread out a bit and we felt like we were invading everyone’s space by being there. But the UP is beautiful so it made up for it.

Nice campground

Newer campground, not much shade but outer ring surrounded by trees. Site 50 has beautiful view. Hook ups are very nice quality Staff is very friendly.

My nightmare

The site only gives you coordinates that are actually an hour away from the site. There is no real address to get there. We pulled in pretty late, had a rough long drive so we got to where we thought it was at around 11:30 pm. Then we can’t find the site, so we go to the website and it gives us…

New Park

Nice new park. More trees would be nice as it was quite windy when we visited. Good location.
