Nice sites close to home

Close to the house if I need a quick camping fix. Very clean restrooms and hot showers. The campsites on the hilltop used to be our favorite in the fall. They put cabins on them last year which for us is disappointing. Lots of trails throughout. Have even hiked in from the beach to camp for a…

Awesome Campground!

This was my first experience at forester Park! I loved it! Nice laid back park. We went on memorial weekend, it was packed as expected. I had site 140. When you buy wood you can choose to buy a bushel for $30 that someone drops off at your campsite for you! It was alot of pine and birch, delicious…

Not a bad place

Campsites are close to each other but overall we had a good time there would go back.

Filthy, unorganized and unkempt

Rotten picnic tables IF your site even had one. Campers had no fire pits and/or picnic tables. Dirty masks and gloves laying around.  Very unlevel site. Old dirty campgrounds.  Horribly loud from I75. Run by kids. Disgusting I would rather have given my money elsewhere. And charging $7.50 for a…

Crowded but nice lake

If you’re in a camper, make sure you have an extension cord. The power is quite a ways away. There is no internet or WiFi access. The camping spaces are VERY close together so it is very cramped. The fire pits are VERY DEEP, which means you have to be right up on it to see or feel the flame 2 feet…

Eh

The whole “key card, locking gate” thing is cool, until i go to get food and all of a sudden i’m locked out of the campground & can’t get to my camper and dogs at 10pm. called both numbers on the sign to hear nothing but voicemails? waited 10 minutes, called a couple times and walked up to the…

Small and friendly

The smallest KOA we have been to but it was a nice change. The new owner helped us back into our site - he was very nice and enthusiastic. Pizza delivery on a rainy night was a nice touch. We will definitely come back when it is warm enough to swim in the lake!

Holly is amazing!

NOTE: Hollys dump station is still closed. There is a "mini dump" station for portable tanks behind the bathouse. You can dump at KOA for 35$ or at other state parks for free.

This was our second time at Holly. We stayed with 2 other groups sites 65-68. The sites are huge. Some have more shade…

Typical MI State Park

You get electric, period. Dump station available, potable water available there, as well as various spigots within the park. Beach ok but narrow. Firewood available, with free loaner wagons to get it to your site. I found the west side of the park a lot noisier than the east. The separate…

Best campground in the mitten!

I love lakeport! So peaceful and relaxing! We camped there 9 times in 2020 plan to do the same this year! Home away from home! Campsites along the water are the best with pathways to the beach! Bathrooms are always gleaming as well!!!

Nice campground.

Not a bad campground. We stayed in the south campground on site 32. The site was sloped as it is at the bottom of a hill. Had to use quite a few blocks to level our travel trailer. I would probably not use this spot again because of it. I did note the North campground is much flatter; however it…

Great Local Campground and Trails

Addison Oaks is a campground that features hiking and mountain biking trails, campground, cabins, disc golf course, and a lake for boating. The campground is RV and tent friendly and offers fire pits/ picnic tables. The trails are well maintained and heavily trafficked.

Words Cant Describe

This place is amazing! I have been faithfully coming here since I was a child. We had our annual camping trips usually around the end of June and again in the middle to end of September and I looked so forward to it and once got there never wanted to leave. Now my husband and I bring our son here…
