Your mileage may vary

I’m glad we stayed four nights here. It gave us enough time to see both good and bad from this lovely state park. The bad included small sites, overcrowding, and a lot of raccoon activity. But the good was beautiful scenery, lots of amenities, a wonderful camp store, and a lot of friendly people!

Great RV Park!

Gravel sites, electric, play areas for kids. Close to the flea market! Nice place to park for a few days in Amish country. Fun at the pavilion!

Aptly Named!

Such a gem! Tiny municipal campground, but part of a much larger recreation area. Everything seems new or at least well maintained. Couldn’t believe this location hasn’t gotten more attention. See pics for the many amenities in this park!

Former pick a spot now it's jt's lakeside campground I think

We have a blast!!!!! Bring your boat or watercraft! Plenty of lakefront camping spots on the barbie chain of lakes. Several (deep, clean) lakes hooked together by channels. Also hook into that big bass or musky!! It's crowded, pretty quiet usually, no showers or running water bathroom facilities.…

Camp is clean and quiet. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Walking distance to the beach. Would visit again.

Great for families and group camping

If you're traveling with kids or enjoy the community of being near your fellow campers this is a great option. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat this may be a bit loud and busy. However, the many amenities are a great way to find peace with the 9 lakes, 12 trails and a beach for swimming.…

Big Rig Friendly

The is a great place to stay. All concrete, gated, beach in a small lake, basketball court, fishing, pools, and lots of grass for the dogs. Laundry rooms and bathrooms spotless.

Good for families!

Nice layout and easy access to camp amenities made this weekend trip away from home a relaxing one. Though early in the season, the campground was busy. Beautiful state park scenery.

Ok, but small sites and busy

Friendly and clean campground with lake sites. This wasn’t really our type of campground. We love more nature, more space, and less traffic. We had a nice site on the lake but everywhere you look are “permenant” campers. We were lucky to have no one next to us early in the season, but sites are…

Nice park; but barely any beach

The campground itself is nice and clean with clean bathrooms and showers. Sites are close and does not provide a lot of privacy. More RVs than tents. Had some issues with some loud parties even after midnight, but hoping that was just that week. There was barely any beach left due to high water…

My Childhood are place

Ok, so I might be biased because this is where I spent my summers growing up. But I’ve never found another campground with such a great mix of secluded sites, but still opportunities to meet and party with fellow camper.

Endless hiking trails and two lakes where you can fish, swim, and boat.

If…

This is our "home base" campground. It's familiar. We've been coming here for decades. Comfortable, and quiet(for the most part).

Caveat: no electric, no running water, no sewer/septic, no dump, no fill... Can run your generator(inverter type is best). Solar is a negative due to tree cover.…

This is our favorite State Park campground

The campground is huge, but we have never felt crowded. There is a nice prairie area to walk around in, and an easy to ride pave bike trail. We watched the osprey nest one year for several hours. We have not yet had a kayak out on the lake, but the lake is big. The bathrooms have always been…

Quiet naturalist preserve

Nine lakes, seven connected by water ways. Many trails with ratings from easy to  rugged, distances of 1 mile to  4 miles and many of them cross to  make your hike longer.  Many campsites with some space between, but if the park was full, would be crowded.  Very friendly rangers and well kept park.
