Tippy top penninsula of MI

Excellent for birding, lots of history here with the fort right on site. Swim, tour the lighthouse, bike around. Nice nearby town. Campsites are wooded, some close to the south of this little strip of land by Lake Fanny Hooe (great name). Pretty standard state park facilities, clean and kept up well. All-around feel is very Michigany!
