## Overview

 Camp Seven Lake Campground neighbors the 60-acre Camp Seven Lake, which offers visitors a place to swim, boat and fish. The excellent location, beautiful setting and many available activities make the campground a perfect place to spend a day, the weekend or longer vacation.
## Recreation

 Boating is popular among visitors to the Camp Seven Lake area, and anglers looking to find that perfect spot on the lake. Smallmouth bass, bluegills and perch make up the most popular catches. The 2-mile Van Winkle Lake loop trail leads hikers to a spectacular paper birch stand overlooking quiet Van Winkle Lake. A variety of waterfowl and wetland wildlife can be spotted along the trail. For a more relaxing stroll, the beach at Camp Seven Lake boasts a paved walking trail.
## Facilities

 The campground offers multiple accessible single-family campsites, available for tent and RV camping. For the most part, each site is shaded and private and some are right on the lake. A few sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each site is equipped with tables and campfire rings; only a few have grills. Accessible vault toilets and drinking water are provided. A group picnic area can accommodate up to 25 people and offers tables, a campfire circle and a grill.
## Natural Features

 The campground is adjacent to Camp Seven Lake, which is situated in the lower third of the Hiawatha National Forest, in Michigan\'s Upper Peninsula. The area is home to many bodies of water and plentiful mixed hardwood forests. 
## Nearby Attractions

 The town of Garden Corners is about 20 miles from the campground, on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Camp Seven Lake Campground

We stayed here for almost a week and were able to explore all the waterfalls in the area and the UP in general. P.S. it is really close to Kitch-Iti-Kipi! Go see these phenomenon; it is special. This campground has everything you need and is a good central location if you want to set it as your base.

Spacious and Clean!

This is a great swimming and fishing lake! Sites are big and some even have electric. Outhouses are clean. Very impressed. You can have two units on a site (you do both have to pay) and still have room to gather and play. Will be back! Firewood and ice for sale at hosts site. Reservations and first come first sites, just depends on which ones. 

Lovely Place

We love this campground! We spent 7 days with friends.  The site that we both had were huge. Nicely shared. Mostly shaded but did have a few areas of sun. I loved the fire pit. I cook over the open fire and the size and type of ring was great. It had good ventilation which allows the fire to breath. 
The vault toilets could use a good clean out and start fresh but the stall area was clean.
The camp host was great. We had a vehicle break down and he Googled the problem,  found the issue and steered us to places that could help. He was friendly and very helpful.

Incredibly beautiful lake. The pit toilets were super clean and the sites were amazing. Wish we stayed longer.

LOVED This Place

Enjoyed the campground. The site was clean and just enough privacy from the other sites. Only one complaint was there was no designated tent vs RV sites. Generator for two days and nights was not what we were looking for being in tent camping.
