Get what you pay for

MA residents pay only $17. This place is old. Sites not well maintained and not well labeled. Bathroom were old and could could use updating. No services for an RV. But, you are on Cape Cod.

Love the water, not a fan of the non-campers

This is a city park with a beach and a campground. This is a no frills campground, though there is a playground and beach. It’s less than 2 miles from Salem and on the trolley line.

My favorite campground in Mass!

Tents, yurts, powered or not powered. You can have remote-feeling sites, or ones that are close in…and all are “floored” with nice flat cover of dry pine needles from the towering white pines local to this area. A few miles from the north coast of Cape Cod (town of Sandwich), close to beaches and…

  • Yurt ceiling with pendant lamps and glass top
  • surfing possible nearby!
  • yurt with 2 sets of bunks, picnick table / benches, water (outside) & power!

Great campground

The campground is so peaceful. Birds everywhere and children laughing. We had the greatest camping neighbors. It was really good. The site we had only had 110v. One night it caught on fire. Scared us to death. Luckily there was nothing plugged in. It was newly installed in this area so hopefully…

White sand crystal clear beaches with pine tree shade

I highly recommend hiking the Cliff Pond loop trail - it is fairly flat and an easy hike with a nice breeze coming off the water. I saw a bald eagle take off from a tree above my head. And there are plenty of white sand beaches to cool off in the water.

Most of the campsites are pretty close…

Your neighbors dictate your experience here

The park employees are great and the pond itself is nice. The restrooms were decent, too. But if your neighbors are a pain they will be so close to you that they will ruin your trip. We had a beautiful spot but no chance to unwind. If day drinking to loud music surrounded by even louder…

We loved this campground!!

This campground was fantastic. The sites were very unique, hilly and wooded. We had a great G. The kids enjoyed the playgrounds and putt putt. We enjoyed the proximity to beaches on the Cape. Also enjoyed a whale watch tour which left from a harbor nearby. FYI, no pool or…

Not your average camping experience

We spent a weekend here on a tent site close to the beach. There was no parking at our site, but the parking lot was only 25 yards away so it was not an issue. Our site (27) was large enough for an 8 person tent, 4 person tent, EZ Up, and a pop up dog house for our pooch. We also kept our 2 kayaks…
