There are two beaches, a huge pier to fish or crab on, boat slips, kayaks and stand up paddle boards for rent, and seven acres of grassy expanses with big ole trees. Every campsite is waterfront with a picnic table, gas bbq grill, and fire pit, campsites are beachfront.
Easy access for large RV's or towing a trailer with plenty of turn around room. Some sites have hookups, most are primitive. There is a huge common area in the Big Cottage for campers with a full kitchen, dining, living, laundry room and showers. Self serve breakfast is in the common area dining room every morning. There's also another full shower room onsite with a few clean new portopotties.
Quiet relaxing environment, all campsites are 50 feet apart or more.

There's plenty to do while onsite: fish, crab, kayak, paddle board, swim, sunbathe on the beaches, frisbee, play the games on site like badminton, croquette, horseshoes, lawn bowling, paddleball, and card games provided upon asking. Your dog will love the water and grassy expanses on the 11 acres.
Nearby attractions are Washington DC monuments and museums, Chesapeake beach waterpark, Calvert Cliffs for fossil and shark tooth hunting, Solomons for great local seafood. Although the site secluded, the town of Prince Frederic is only 5 miles away and has everything you need, a lot of good restaurants, stores, and gas stations.
There's face masks and disinfectant soap, sprays and alcohol hand wash should you need it. All restrooms have disposable sanitary wipes and toilet seat covers and are sanitized. We take cleanliness seriously and you can tell when onsite. The site provides water and outdoor covered trash bin, and there's a dump station for rv's going primitive.
This is the historic site where a boat was built for George Washington; the British invasion of 1812 where the British fleet docked and raided Washington DC; and 1940's was home to civil war troops from the north. Historic plaques are onsite and around town.

Amazing campsite, lots of room, all the sites are waterfront between the Patuxent River and Mill Creek. A hidden gem. sites have a picnic table, gas bbq grill and fire pit. bring your own firewood. Fantastic common area in the Big Cottage with huge kitchen, dining, living rooms, laundry and shower room. Self serve breakfast was provided in the common area. You can also rent a cottage suite, good value for the price. Private site book thru Airbnb is best. Owners responsive and take real good care of the place its clean and kept up well. Lots of wildlife on site, we saw osprey, bald eagle, fox, groundhog, ducks and geese. Fishing and crabbing off the docks. There are boat slips available for $5 per day, and kayak and standup paddle boards for rent onsite.
