Rocky Gap has a large number of water activities available (boating, fishing, swimming) and two beaches. There are approximately 35 miles of mountain biking/hiking trails around the lake and on the surrounding hills.

If camping is not to the liking of everyone in your party there is a golf course and casino on one side of the lake. Something for a lot of tastes.

Only down side is that even on a Tuesday the camp and beaches were quite busy, so a little on the noisy side.
