About

Come to where the pavement ends and the wilderness begins!

Enjoy picturesque cascades a short walk from camp, or spot a moose while day hiking the Appalachian Trail or Borestone Mountain.

Nearby Monson offers antique shops, galleries, a museum, and restaurants, including Spring Creek Bar-B-Q, the Lakeshore House, and fine dining at the Quarry. ATV and boat rentals are available just a short drive north to the Moosehead Lake region or spend the day canoeing or kayaking in one of the many lakes and ponds in the area. Your camp hosts will be happy to tell you about their favorite swimming hole at the base of Little Wilson Falls just a mile and a half away.

Whatever your pleasure during your camping adventure, evenings bring a chance to refresh and recharge by a cozy campfire under the stars, and to be lulled gently to sleep by the sounds of wildlife along Wilson Stream.

The Space: Maine mountains and wilderness escape. Relax and unwind among birch and pines in a private campsite along pristine Wilson Stream.

Guest Access: This campsite is off-the-grid, offering the chance to relax, unplug, and experience nature! There is no electricity or WiFi, and cell service is hard to come by. You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.

When it comes to bathrooms, this campsite comes with a solar camp shower (that will be filled with water and can be hung anywhere around your campsite you feel comfortable) as well as an outdoor camp toilet (you'll line the loo with a provided CleanWaste bag, do your duty, then remove the bag, tie it off, and throw it in the garbage).

When you arrive, you'll follow the map provided to arrive at your campsite. Parking will be close by and dogs are always allowed!

Whats included at the campsite: -A large canvas tent with a Queen size bunk and two air mattresses -Bed Linens -A separate five person pop-up dome tent -Picnic table and benches -Basic camp cookware and dish-ware -Outdoor camp shower and toilet -2 Adirondack chairs

What you should bring: -S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat -A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling -Lanterns and lighting -Firewood for the campfire

Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory!

Interaction with Guests: Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb. Your CampKeeper is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). If you have any questions regarding your reservation, Tentrr Customer Support can be reached at (888) 798-9093 or at hello@tentrr.com.

Other Things to Note: This is a hike-in site, a quarter mile down a scenic trail from the parking area (5 to 10 minute walk). Plan accordingly. We try to provide most everything you'll need so you can pack light. Please enjoy the resident foxes and deer from a distance.
