About This Campground

A private tent hidden in the woods near the river. Close to Maine's popular destinations. Welcome to River's Edge, your personal hideaway from the world in a place not so far from it. You'll be camping in Maine woods, surrounded by fields and right along the Nezinscot River. You will be a short walk or drive to the center of our quaint village, where you will find a small grocer and a bank, If you're looking for a little more you'll find it in the nearby towns of Turner or Norway, which aren't more than a 15 minute drive away. If you drive an hour or less, you can find yourself in places like Portland, Augusta, Bethel, Brighton, Sebago. Wherever it is that you want to be in Southern, Central, Coastal or the mountains of Maine, it is an hour or two away! Memory foam mattress, for a good night's sleep. Please pick up your trash and place it in the supplied trash cans. We want to make sure that we keep our land beautiful. Pets are allowed, but be careful that they are under control or on a leash due to surrounding wildlife. Deer are common but skunks and porcupines don't make for much fun with ever-curious dogs. (Ask us how we know!)
